For a mom with major germ issues, this was a dream come true. I love how it folds into it's own built in bag so you never loose the bag (as with other products) and that it's machine washable and dryable. It's very easy to install and my daughter loves how her toys can hook onto the cover and the cute little side pocket that she enjoys putting her bottle in to store it. :) I also agree with other reveiwers that I feel this has helped my daughter stay healthy by not exposing her to unnecessary germs. This is the greatest thing. Why put a child in dirty grocery cart or worse, a high chair at a restaurant probably covered in food and germs? I do have one problem with it, but it may be only an isolated thing. The grocery carts at my local grocery store place ads on the seat back of the child seat. The are encased in a plastic plate and the child's back would be against it. When I try to put the strap of the Floppy Seat around it, the strap does not fit around my son preventing me from keeping him safe. He is very thin, so it's not even that his size is an issue. So, I wrote the company and they said they don't have a solution to this issue, but hope to someday soon. Also when I said I don't feel safe putting my son in the seat when I can't attach it and all they said was "yes, you have to strap the child in" Uh... yeah I know. So, not the greatest support there especially since I paid good money for it, but I do get use out of it elsewhere. I would still invest the money had I known I would have an issue, but thought I would mention it in case others have the same situation and it might be a deciding factorCustomer Review: Everyone should have one of these in their car!

We purchased our Floppy as soon as our dd could sit unsupported. She loves it as do we. She loves the bright colors & patterns (we have the red Floppy). We love that she stays clean, her toys are easy to secure, & it's easy to put on -- even with one hand! We are so glad we don't have to perch her carrier precariously on carts anymore!
I think the 2 best presents you could give a new mom are this Floppy seat & a Boppy -- even if she isn't registered for them. They are the 2 items I really couldn't live without!

My twin sons are 6 months old, and after they outgrew their carriers, we knew we had to protect them from those gross yuckies on shopping carts and highchairs.
First off the floppy seats are like blankets, so its easy to travel with both, we actually bring them almost everywhere, much more portable than other seat covers. Of course both of our sons arent in the floppy at the same time (unless I am shopping with my husband and we have two carts, they arent old enough to fit in the specialized double seated carts) but its also great to keep on the bottom of the large basket for the other twin. It fits on any sized carts seat, and it they have seat straps it can come through and be used if the floppy's on. Theres a little pouch for pacifires and things like that, usefull, DEFINATLY! I also love that theres strings to attatch to paccifires and toys, so they dont end up on the grocery stores floor! It also fits on restaurant highchairs easily, I can get it on one-handed! We keep all those germs off of them (they were premies, and they are very prone to illness) but it can also keep the cold/warmth of the metal carts off of them. It has a pillow so it makes it even more comfy! And it makes the one sitting in the big basket more comfortable, great until they are old enough to sit in the double sided seats on special carts. Its also machine washable, do this after EVERY usage, or else it will still carry germs...
This floppy seat keeps the boys comfortable, safe, and out of illness! We wouldnt go anywhere without it!

I registered for this despite my husband's skepticism about whether it was necessary. After we had forgotten it once and ate at a kid-friendly restaurant where my son continuously sucked on the high chair, my husband started making sure we had it with us whenever we went out. We also received another cart cover, but it is not as good as this one -- this one fits ALL carts, including the larger ones at places like costco. Not only does this cover protect against germs, but it protects against the heat and cold of a metal shopping cart, AND it has its own strap, which is useful, because often the straps on high chairs and carts are broken. But if the strap on the high chair or cart you are using works, there are holes to put the straps through. This one may be a bit more money than some of the others, but it is well worth it. Every baby should have one.
