Baby Products Reviews of Fisher-Price Zen Collection Cradle SwingCustomer Review: Never buy from this seller Summary: 1 StarsNever buy from this seller. You will not get the item you buy. I have paid for the swing but I did not get it. I did not get my money back.
Customer Review: Great baby shower gift Summary: 5 StarsWe gave this for my son's baby and it is really nice--soothing music and the seat can be carried from room to room--now awaiting his arrival!!!!!!
Customer Review: Looks great but functions are limited Summary: 3 StarsThis product is good for a few specific reasons but is not going to meet every need. It was pretty easy to assemble but you have to be careful not to tear off the cyllinders of plastic padding from the metal bars that hold up the chair--it looks like packaging and is easy to mistakenly take off if you're not paying attention to the directions. The product is labeled to try to prevent you from doing this. It looks really great and complements my decor instead of clashing with it; however, the swing is pretty strong even on the lowest setting and it's too much for our newborn. I think she will like it more when she gets a bit older and heavier (she is only 6 pounds). So right now we aren't using the swing, just the bouncy seat and the music, which she seems to like. Also, the mobile doesn't have any motor, so it just kind of sits there and you have to manually move it if you want it to change position. The bouncy seat doesn't vibrate or have a toy bar that can attach to it either. For a newborn this is fine, but as she gets older she may need a separate bouncy seat that can keep her entertained.
Customer Review: Won't last long, baby will outgrow it quickly Summary: 3 StarsOverall this is a very nice swing, and I agree with other reviewers on the assembly instructions. My one buyer beware comment... your child will quickly outgrow this swing/seat. It does not incline very far so baby is stuck looking at the ceiling. This is fine for when they are little, but once they start to be more alert and wanting to see things around them, the swing becomes frustrating. I do love the swing, but for the money we paid, I wish I could use it for longer than a few months.
Customer Review: Beautiful swing missing a few essential yet practical things Summary: 3 StarsI bought the swing after looking at a bunch others at my local store as well as amazon website. First the pros, its a gorgeous swing, really beautiful to look at. the materials r fabolous, the colors r soothing. pretty easy to assemble except the buckle situation with the seat legs, i was one of the unlucky ones who got the leg wrong and as soon as i did it i remembered that i read ppl discussing that here. i tried to remove the warning label with a nail polish remover, it was smudging it and had to really scrub in order to get it clean. anyways after trying almost for half a day, i was able to get the leg out, the trick is to get a narrow screw driver in from the back at the point where the legs click into the center piece and move the screw driver to a 45 degree angle slowly till the parts click out. u dont have to apply any force(which i was previously). the music is pretty nice.
now the cons, i think for this price, it should have additional features. the mobile doesn't rotate, my son looks at it but gets bored pretty soon, i've to rotate it by hand to get his attention.
the two positions that the seat has dont have that much of a difference, i think it should have another more upright setting.
the seat is removable which is very convenient but i would have loved if it had some bouncer like features in itself as well like vibration and or music. i've an apartment and i bought it so that it would eliminate the need for a bouncer but it does not.
overall, i like it because of its aesthetic qualities but it lacks quite a few practical details.
