Customer Review: Perfect in every way
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a WONDERFUL baby product. I love that it is versatile and will grow with my child. Wipes down cleanly and quickly, love the dishwasher safe tray. I think it's so easy to remove and attach the tray.

My daughter started sitting in it just before she was 2 months old, to enjoy watching us eat dinner "as a family." The straps even go tight enough for her tiny frame, and she was only 10 pounds at 2 months old. She just sat with all of us for Thanksgiving dinner, and the grandparents all remarked how well behaved she was. It really helps that she can sit at our level and feel included.

I recommend purchasing some suction cup base toys to attach to the tray to keep little ones entertained.

She also sits in this chair near me when I scrapbook or craft, and that's the only was she feels involved enough to stay happy long enough for me to be productive.

I like the reclining seat, and the fact that it fits nicely even on a captains chair in our dining room is nice. Also very portable if we need to attend a holiday at a relative's house.

You can't go wrong with this!

UPDATE: Now at 15 months old, we find ourselv frequently putting our daughter's food on a plate on the table, and not using the tray as much. The one thing that I (and other mothers I know) have discovered, is that even when converted to a booster seat, the seat won't fit under our dining room tables, because of the arms. This prevents the child from getting as close to the table/plate as they normally would and leaves about 8 inches of "drop space" where she can drop food in her lap, on her legs, or the floor. I am not pleased with this, and we have another seat that doesn't have arms (it's a bit older Fisher Price seat) and when the new baby comes we will be switching the toddler to that so that she can still be boosted, but as close to the table as she needs to be.

Customer Review: Not much of a space saver...
Summary: 3 Stars

I purchased this high chair because I have twins and a very small dining room. I wanted to get rid of the 2 full size high chairs that I'm currently using. However, I didn't find this high chair to be much of a space saver because while it attached to my dining room chair easily, the armrests are so high that it prevented me from pushing my dining room chair under the table. Therefore, it sticks out in the middle of the floor right in the walk space around the table. I personally didn't find this to be a space saver. I was expecting it to slide right under my table, out of sight. However, if this doesn't bother you, it is a nice portable high chair, but rather heavy to be moved too far. I didn't have any trouble with the reclining seat (this was a nice feature), but it is a little confining in its size. My twins are 7 months old, 17 pounds and 26 inches tall (falling into the 50th percentile on weight and height on the doctor's growth chart) and they already filled out every bit of room that this high chair has to offer. It was pretty cramped for my son who is rather broad through the shoulders. I did like the fact that the cushion is vinyl for easy cleanup, but this also causes a problem with sweating (at least for my twins it would). I would have preferred that the back of the cushion be made of fabric to eliminate this problem and that the armrests folded down completely instead of just tilting with the reclining seat. Maybe these features will be added to the 2007 model. This high chair made its way back to the shelves of the store where I purchased it. I guess I'll put up with the full size high chairs until they grow into booster seats.

Customer Review: I LOVE this high chair
Summary: 5 Stars

This is our third high chair if you can believe it. With our first child, we started with the standard Graco full size high chair and weren't very happy with the cloth pad that was easily stained and a hassle to clean. It also seemed to take up a lot of space in our small dining area.

Then for our second child, we moved on to an Evenflo high chair that didn't fully sit up and had an annoying bump that seemed to hamper our children's attempts to feed themselves. And, once again we had the problem of too big in too small of space.

For our third child, I resolved to do things differently. After a lot of research, I decided to puchase this space saver high chair. I really liked the features...especially the one where you place it on a chair that's already taking up space in your dining room!

We have been using it for the past two months and we LOVE it! It is so compact, but works much like a Britax car seat. It hugs the baby in the seat and has a 5-point harness, so I don't have to worry about my baby slipping out the bottom like other seats. Admittingly, we don't have too much of a mess to clean up at this stage, but the plastic seat cushion will make clean ups easy.

My 2 1/2 year old gets in it as well and she fits nicely, so I am certain that this chair will grow with us far beyond the standard high chair....as both of my two older children were out of the high chair and into a booster at about 15 months.

I have to say that we have yet to use the tray, but I am confident that we will love it as well.

Customer Review: No regrets for this purchase
Summary: 5 Stars

The chair was exactly what we were looking for. Our dining area is fairly small so using our existing dining chair does save space. The booster chair feels secure as it secures both behind and under the dining chair with buckle straps. It also has non-skid rubber feet on the bottom of all four corners. The 3-point to 5-point harness is helpful for keeping the baby in place. We were using one of those cheapy plastic block booster chairs and our 7-month old kept slouching underneath the tray. The contoured seat in the Space Saver High Chair helps to prevent that.

The adjustable height was useful for raising the tray to just above our table level so we could slide the whole chair underneath when not in use. I'm not sure when we'd recline the seat, but I guess it's a nice option to have.

The chair reminds me of a car seat, and as such, keeps our baby in place while feeding. The one-handed release of the tray and the highly adjustable settings are convenient options. I don't think I could ask for anything more out of a booster chair. Perhaps a built-in iPod adapter with speakers built into the tray or something. Just kidding :P

The model I purchased is the J5933, but there is another model, L1907. According to a couple of customers who researched them, the differences are basically color. Kudos to them for researching them and clearing that up.

Customer Review: Better options exist! I hated this high chair.

Received as a baby registry gift with my first child. The cover stained and did not wash well. We decided against using the cover; it's easier to wipe the plastic seat than the cover.
The arms, which latch the tray, stick out so much that it prevented us from being able to pull the chair close to the table for feeding.
The tray was too large to fit in the dishwasher. When we wanted to wash it, it took up the whole top rack, laying down.
Also, the tray was not as easy to put on and remove as the site makes it appear. Getting it off was a bit of a pain. There were times when the bottom of the tray would scratch the tops of our baby's legs.

I got so frustrated with it by my second child that we've decided to switch her to the FP Healthy Care Deluxe Booster seat, which is not only cheaper, but also has a small, removable, dishwasher size meal tray. Plus, I can order replacement trays through Fisher-Price.

With baby #3 on the way, we've decided to order the Safety 1st Recline and Grow 5-Stage Feeding Seat, which reclines and has a removable, dishwasher size meal tray (& extra trays can be ordered from Cosco).

About the only good thing I can say about the Space Saver High Chair is that it doesn't take up much room. With that being said, look into booster seat options. You can find a better seat for a lot less.
