Customer Review: Adequate for the price

We received this as a present and while it has some nice features, it's rather noisy overall. Our home is a two story and my daughter's room is directly below ours. The monitor hums loudly and is very staticy no matter how low you turn the volume down. Maybe it'd work better in a home where the recievers are farther apart. It does however, pick up the lightest sounds from my daughter, you just have listen very closely. The moving lights are a nice feature and work perfectly. All in all, I probably wouldn't buy it, but as a gift it works well enough.Customer Review: Problem with battery cover

Overall, we're happy with this monitor - the reception is very clear and we can hear our daughter's slighest sounds. But we did have trouble unscrewing the battery cover - the screw is so fragile and it gets easily stripped. I could not even remove the cover at all. We returned the first monitor and had the same problem with the replacement - we decided to leave the screw out and just snap in the battery cover. My advice - keep the box/packaging and receipt until you're sure all parts of the monitor work, in case you need to return/exchange it.Customer Review: Good monitor for the price

The FP Sound 'n Lights monitor is a very good choice for the price. We originally bought the FP 900 mhz monitor, but ended up returning it for this one. We had a lot of interference with the 900 mhz monitor. I still have some trouble with this monitor, but overall it works very well. It is very sensitive. I can hear my son's tiny little snores quite clearly. It doesn't have a very good range, but for use in the house does the job. If you are looking for a moderately priced monitor to use in the house, this one is a very good choice.Customer Review: Great Item

This item is great for my family, I can put my son in bed for his nap and go outside and take care of what needs to be done.I can say that it my not be as good for everyone we have four buildings on our property and all of them are made different. I can say that this monitor does not work in anything with powerlines really close or in a tin building. O ther than that I have had no problems its so clear its like Im standin in the room even with a swamp cooler running in the background. I really recomend this monitor.Customer Review: i love it

This is the second monitor ive had since my son was born. Ive been using it for about 2 years now and Im just starting to have some problems with static, but its sporadic and usually stops quickly. Im expecting my second baby and planning to get another monitor just like it.I think my favorite thing about this monitor, is that when my son cries, it muffles the volume against the loud noise so it doesnt lift you out of bed in the middle of the night thinking the child is screaming right in your ear!
