Baby Products Reviews of Fisher-Price Soothing Motions Glider - Butter BunnyCustomer Review: Great product- little use Summary: 4 StarsWhile most of the people who visit say they wish this product were made for adults, our child really only used it for about the first 12 weeks. Now, he seems very figity when he's put in this and becomes irritated after only a few minutes.
He loved it in the beginning and it helped us through some nights that we may not have gotten through so nicely otherwise.
I recommend the product to friends, but I wish our child had enjoyed it a little longer.
Customer Review: Good Night's Sleep Summary: 5 StarsWe've had the Soothing Motions Glider for over seven months now (still going on the same set of batteries) and I couldn't be happier with it. My son slept in it exclusively for the first three months and still occasionally sleeps in it. He slept through the night after the first couple of weeks and the soothing motions glider seemed to help him stay comfortable. If he's tired, it still seems to sooth him to sleep. It has also been nice to keep him elevated while he sleeps to make breathing easier when he's had "upper respitory infections" (colds). I would (and have) recommended it to other parents and wish we had had it for our daughter when she was born.
Customer Review: Great product . . too bad the motor died! Summary: 2 StarsWe purchased this glider for our newborn daughter instead of a bouncer. It worked wonders for us, especially at night. By 3 weeks she was sleeping 7-8 hours at night in it. We were quite upset, however, when the motor that moves it back and forth died 6 weeks later. I called Fisher Price and they stated that it wasn't a common problem. I expected that I baby item that cost $70 would last a little longer.
Customer Review: A Blessing in Disguise Summary: 5 StarsMy wife and I recently brought our twins home from the hospital. This has been a blessing when either one of our babies are feeling fussy. In fact we plan on buying a second one so we can have both babies in their own gliders on the occasions when they are extremely fussy, which does happen from time to time. I highly recommend this product.
Customer Review: MUST have for Reflux Babies Summary: 5 StarsMy daughter had terrible reflux and wouldn't sleep in anything else for the first 6 1/2 months of her life! Most reflux babies hate lying flat on their back b/c it hurts. This was the perfect incline and it was so warm and snuggly for her! She truly loved it! And I loved it b/c she slept better in this than anywhere else. I have read the other reviews about the motor being loud, but truly everyone is different in their tolerance. It really didn't bother me and honestly...it's not THAT loud! I think it's worth it if my child is happy.....price or noise!!!! Who cares!
