I bought this glider because my 2 month old son loves to sleep in his swing and I was getting leary about letting him sleep in it while I was not in the room. So, I got this for him to snooze in, and sometimes sleep all night in because it is low to the ground and very roomy. He seems to like to like it quite well and is entertained by the animals above him when he is awake in it. A couple things that I feel are drawbacks are the size of the glider...it's HUGE! Also, it is quite noisy, which I guess I kind of expected. I also do not care that much for the music, it just doesn't seem very soothing. Overall though, if it helps me get a few naps in during the day and night, I am all for it, so this product has helped in that way. The BEST Baby seat!!! As a new mom- I likely went overboard with the baby gear- we have it all- the glider, the bouncer, the swing, and the jumparoo (for when he's older- but the 1 I couldn't be without is BY FAR the Glider! From the time we came home with him it been wonderful- you can put the baby in while grabbing a bite to eat- bring it in the bthrm while taking a shower etc... He's 2 mths old and I use it nearly everyday- and have NOT changed the batteries yet! Now that he's more alert he is quite interested in the bunny and bear hanging (though they don't look that exciting to a baby they are :) I also have the FP Rainforest Swing & Bouncer seat- both good for stimulation and playtime now that he's getting older and more alert, but THE GLIDER is THE BEST!!!

I love the glider! It is wonderful! My 2 month old loves it. There are 2 speeds, 2 types of music and 2 levels of volume. Many choices for different needs. You can also not turn it on and let your baby just relax and look up at the cute toys that dangle down. It's so cozy and comfortable. Colors are soft and pastel. There is an inner piece that comes out for easy washing. The belt is simple to manage. There is nothing difficult with this item. One thing that would improve the glider would be if the seat came out of the base so that you could place it on a table. The base is large and heavy so you can't put it on the table. Definitely worth every penny! Especially if you have a baby that loves to ride in the car or stroller. Similar soothing motion.Customer Review: Worth every penny

I was wary of spending this much money on yet another chair (at the time we already had a bouncer and a baby papasan). But my daughter wasn't fond of either, and I badly needed a safe place for her to hang out while I showered! So we got this. Hands down this was the best buy we made in the first 6 months of our baby's life. (And looking back, the only chair we really needed.)
As it turned out, one of my daughter's favorite things to do in her pre-sitting up days was to lie back in that chair and rock back and forth while listening to music. Sometimes we'd even get a nap out of it.
When she was too old for the chair, we passed it on to some friends of ours. They reported that it soothed their daughter to sleep very consistently as well.

We purchased this in 2008 after our oldest daughter was born because of extremely high praise from a friend. Our oldest hated it. The box was destroyed, otherwise we would have returned it then. I did think it may just be her and the next baby might enjoy it....I was wrong! The seat itself doesn't seem to be very supportive at all as it is just fabric wrapped around the metal frame. It doesn't seem to glide fast enough, even on the high setting. So, after two strikes I thought I had to write a review. If it had a vibrating function, it might be better because you would be combining good features from a bouncy seat and the movement of a glider/swing. Bottome line....I wish I would have kept the box!
