We bought this when our daughter was 2 months old. and it was part of her night routine!! she fall sleep in it EVERY TIME. plus it was the perfect place to put her after feedings or if we have guest or just doing chores around the house! this is by far our fav. baby gear product. however now that she's 7 months old, she doesn't like it as much because now that she can roll and sit she feels that it's restraining her. but we had to do it all again, we will buy it at a heart beat!! it gave us 5 months of happiness!!
P.S. check other places you might find it cheaper.

This was a nice purchase, although over priced. I was able to use it for a good while though, thru about 4 months. My baby was actually a little large, so he started getting a little cramped rather than cuddled (it appeared). It's a very soothing glider. My baby did alot of sleeping in the glider. All-in-all, it was a good purchase. The noise didn't bother me, it wasn't all that loud. I do think, however, it was priced high.Customer Review: Great product- little use

While most of the people who visit say they wish this product were made for adults, our child really only used it for about the first 12 weeks. Now, he seems very figity when he's put in this and becomes irritated after only a few minutes.
He loved it in the beginning and it helped us through some nights that we may not have gotten through so nicely otherwise.
I recommend the product to friends, but I wish our child had enjoyed it a little longer.

We've had the Soothing Motions Glider for over seven months now (still going on the same set of batteries) and I couldn't be happier with it. My son slept in it exclusively for the first three months and still occasionally sleeps in it. He slept through the night after the first couple of weeks and the soothing motions glider seemed to help him stay comfortable. If he's tired, it still seems to sooth him to sleep. It has also been nice to keep him elevated while he sleeps to make breathing easier when he's had "upper respitory infections" (colds). I would (and have) recommended it to other parents and wish we had had it for our daughter when she was born.Customer Review: Great product . . too bad the motor died!

We purchased this glider for our newborn daughter instead of a bouncer. It worked wonders for us, especially at night. By 3 weeks she was sleeping 7-8 hours at night in it. We were quite upset, however, when the motor that moves it back and forth died 6 weeks later. I called Fisher Price and they stated that it wasn't a common problem. I expected that I baby item that cost $70 would last a little longer.
