Customer Review: Good but pricey gift for newborns

The good: The gliding mechanism in our unit has lasted six months. I never thought it would make it that far! The sound quality of the music is very good. This is a very good little bed for newborns, I must say.
The bad: The gliding motion is too slow even on the fast setting (icon of a hare versus a tortoise, or low). To actually rock a baby to sleep the gliding needs to be faster. There is no calming vibration option, a huge omission.
The ugly: I would say the correct price for this glider is $45 or less.

This glider is worth every penny. Some reviewers mentioned it being noisy and heavy but I find it to be very lightweight and easy to move. It is also not too noisy. I do have a fan going at night but the glider sits right next to my bed and I have no trouble sleeping. We have had it for almost a month and my daughter, now 3 months, will usually sleep through the night. She really seems to like it. We leave it on all night and have not had to change the batteries yet. This glider really has made our nights much, much better!!Customer Review: The coolest and most useful thing we bought for our daughter!

This chair is great! I had gotten it a bit cheaper at the time off amazon but it's worth any price. It is SO quiet, and the 360 spin of the chair makes for rocking in any position. Our daughter loves this thing, I wish they would have had this when our son was born. The only down fall is she prefers to sleep in the chair rather than her crib.... but she is only a month old so that may change. The little toys are cute too, they don't make any noise but sure enough baby will bat at them:) I would recommend this to a friend for sure!Customer Review: FABOULOUS...helps sleep!!

I was so excited about getting this when my third son was born. From day one he has been in it and loves the soothing motion. He generally takes naps in it and I find myself putting him in it when he wakes up in the middle of the night because he goes to sleep so much quicker than the crib. When he had a cold recently, he slept in it exclusively to help with mucus drainage, etc. and got over the cold VERY QUICKLY. Can't say enough for this. Very portable. Wish I had this for my older sons! This is a MUST for every new baby!!Customer Review: Great Shower Gift

I bought this for my friend as a shower gift. She just had the baby 2 weeks ago and called me a few days ago just raving about this product! Apparently her baby crys when you take him out of it he loves it so much! She said that it was the best gift that she registered for and after all the awful stories of the first few weeks of Mommyhood she heard, she isn't having any of those problems. I guess this glider is making her life and her adorable little boy's life so much easier. I was so glad to give such an appreciated gift!
