i'm not a huge fan of fisher price- for the most past- their stuff is typical cheap junk plastic that breaks a couple months later. so far this has held up. i got it so when we go on vacation my daughter has something familiar with her when it's night time and she is not in her crib. i don't like how you can't do just water sounds though- you have to have water with the squaking birds too- but i'll get over it. she likes it a lot. My niece, who is about 3 months, loves this thing. She always smiles and laughs at it. She also has the "First Aquarium" toy, but she seems to like this one much better. I'd recommend to anyone with a small child. Customer Review: Calms mr. Fussorola

I could not imagine putting my little boy in his crib without turning on his soother. He loves it so much that even when I put him in there fussy and cranky, he'll calm down and even blabber away. There's something about the Rainforest collection colors that entertains and catches his curiosity. Oh, he talks to the fish moreso than mommy at times! :)Customer Review: Good, but Bright- I miss the old Ocean Aquarium!

I got this for my son because he enjoyed the other rainforest items. This was very nice, except the light was so bright that it lit up his entire room at night! Definitely not what I would use to soothe him to sleep.
That being said, he loved watching the animals swing and the waterfall "work" I just wish the lights weren't so bright that I can't use it in the middle of the night. Whenever I turned it on he would squeeze his eyes shut and start to fidget to escape from the light!
So, a mixed review from me- great for anything other than soothing him to sleep in the middle of the night!

I absolutely love this crib soother! The blue waterfall light is so pretty, the music is wonderful - not annoying at all!, the rainforest sounds are cool, the characters are cute, and my daughter really loves to look at it! She started noticing it at about 1 week old and now at 2 and a half weeks old, she quiets down as soon as I turn it on and just stares at it. I can't wait til she's older, can push the Tucan on button (so cute!), and can appreciate it even more! Highly recommend this product!!! If you're torn between different crib soothers, pick this one! You won't be sorry!
