My son started enjoying this swing when he was only a week or two old. When he's awake, he stares in amazement at the rotating, brightly-colored animals. Since I keep this swing in my home office, I appreciate that there are four different music choices (or otherwise I might go crazy!). The papasan-style chair seems very comfortable to him - as evidenced by how easily he falls asleep in it. I like too that the chair rotates 90 degrees so your baby can swing either side-to-side or back-to-front. But most of all, I love that it plugs in instead of eating up $30 worth of batteries per month. The only thing I don't like about this swing is the volume control. There are two volume settings, but the lowest one is a little loud - too loud for nap time, anyway. All-in-all a very good purchase.Customer Review: Happy 2nd time mom

My daughter is three months old and I can't say enough wonderful things about this swing. She loves the side to side motion which many swings don't do. It's great that it can swivel to the front to back motion too. My baby loves the mobile and the variety of sound settings from a soothing rain sound to a more upbeat musical beat. It's great for entertaining baby or soothing your little one to sleep. I've had no problem whatsoever with this product. It swings just fine - there are several settings. My first daugher never liked any of the swings we borrowed from friends. I wish this one had been on the market when she was born! My favorite feature is the fact that the arm with the mobile swings up out of the way so you can get baby in and out really easily.Customer Review: Thought it was good until...

At first I loved this swing, it had the plug in feature it helped my baby get to sleep. Then one day it just went out, I called FP and they sent a new motor, after which it worked perfectly. Then to my horror and dismay a month later my baby was hanging out of it from the top. This is not one of those mamby pamby stories that we sometimes hear abt where the parent is over protective, it was really scary and if I had not gotten to my baby when I did there could have been some serious injuries. I immediately took the swing apart and boxed it up. My baby pushes on things with his feet and that is why it happened but, I will NEVER use a swing for my children again. If it had a 5 point harness this could have been prevented. But do keep it in mind!Customer Review: the music motor stopped after 3 months.

this is a great swing, very comfy for the baby, my baby used to take all her naps in it, reclines, you can change positions if the baby gets bored. great colors, the toys are the best toys ever, big with big eyes, my baby will smile and talk to them all the time, you can charge it electrically which is great ...
it has 4 kinds of music, we used mostly the one for sleeping , very soothing, my baby will sleep within minutes. the only problem is that the music stopped working after 3 months of use, which was very disappointing to me, because it was very good feature. I have the rainforest gym mat which I used its music for sleep and it worked. the rainforest collection is the best! though the same toys but my baby never gets bored of them.

I bought this for my newborn. When he was less than a month the he enjoyed the swing for a bit, but it gave him hiccups and he soon got irritated, so I stopped using the swing motion for about 3 weeks. I just placed him in it with the music and mobile on with a bottle or binky. He stopped associating the swing with a bad feeling (hiccups) and now, at 6 weeks he happily enjoys the mobile with the swing. Great sturdy model. plugs into the wall or takes batteries. great for many stages. folds up to if you want to move it once in awhile. Not exactly portable. You will need to designate a space for it. Takes up about 2.5 sq ft of floor and stands about 4 ft tall. Good item. I think it will outlast the baby and be useful for the next one.
