Overall, my biggest complaint is the quality of the toys hanging. The day I took it out of the wrapping, the mirror fell out of the plastic holder. I think the toys look cheap but as my infant has gotten older, he has come to enjoy the hanging animals more and more. I completely appreciate the fact that the mat is easily cleaned. I just can't justify spending $60 odd dollars on the mat. I am sure that other less expensive mats can captivate the interest of an infant. I can say for sure that for my son, the lights and music are not at all fascinating for him. He really is into the monkey, or anything with a happy face for that matter. I have started hanging other toys from the gym... which brings me to the other reason I like the mat is for all the loops to which to attach and hang items. I can give it a star for that, a star for the easy cleaning and a star for the fact that the cat loves it too!Customer Review: Favorite baby toy

This play mat is fabulous. My daughter has been playing on it since she was two weeks old and would watch me jingle the elephant rattle and swat around near it. Now at four months, she has played on this every day. She recently figured out the mode where you have to continue hitting and kicking things to keep the music going and was immensely proud of herself. She will even entertain herself on it while I make my breakfast in the morning for twenty minutes. We also use it for tummy time when she loves reaching for the crinkle leaf and watching her reflection in the mirror. This mat has been a better buy for us than the swing or bouncy seat in terms of our daughter's enjoyment. We added a couple of Lamaze toys and switch them out every once in a while to keep things fresh. My only complaint is that I have never heard of a giraffe living in the rainforest, but I don't think my infant has noticed (lol).Customer Review: Great product

I bought this playmat gym for my 2 month old daughter and she loves it...even though she can't grasp anything yet, she like to flail her arms and hit the dangling toys...I added things to mine like a rattle and a plush toy that if you pull on it it makes a little song. I like the setting where if the baby moves alot the music and lights come on and my baby does too :) That means I don't have to get up and push buttons for music to come on (always a plus).
One con I have is I wish the mirror would face the center and not to the side, but I guess they did that so when the baby can grasp she needs to grasp and look at herself..idk...I just put her farther back so she can look at herself, but I just think that would have been nice. No stars taken away for that though b/c this thing is great. Keeps the baby occupied so I can do something. Like get on Amazon and review the playmat:)

This gym is the best! It's really impressive, has lights and sounds that capture baby attention for longer. Also comes with melodies and sounds of nature. Bring a monkey, an elephant rattle, a parrot who sounds like the move, another bird rattle, and the larger giraffe has a mirror.
You have the option to turn sounds through movements of the baby. When baby shakes the toys melodies start to sound.
Of course it also has the option to play all the time.

The gym is very well done and really beautiful, I would recommend this to everyone!

Piper panda for attach to the gym, the toy looks a little cheap but my baby loves it and she loves more her gym because of this toy!

I bought this for my 3 month old when she started trying to roll over, as we had purchased a different mat that wasn't very wide. She absolutely loves it. We can play with her on it, or let her entertain herself. It runs for 18 minutes, but she will play on it for more than one run through. We haven't gotten to use the child activated feature yet, but it seems like you have to hit it a little hard to get that part to work. We use it for tummy time and just letting her play on her back. I was worried that batteries would run out quick, but we have used it multiple times a day for over a month and haven't had to replace them yet!
Update, she is now over 6 months, still uses it daily, and we still haven't had to replace the batteries. She has learned to roll over both ways on the mat, and still loves it, she is nowhere close to getting tired of it!
