Customer Review: Great for the non-sleeper in the car

The big mirror gives you a nice view of baby. The lights are fun to look at for a really young baby that gets bored in the car and doesn't like to sleep in the car seat. The music is okay. It doesn't fit great on our head rests (Hyundai Entourage) and easily gets dislodged. If your baby screams uncontrollably in the car (like ours did for a coulple of months) this probably won't make any difference because they'll never notice it. However, if they're just a bit fussy or bored this is nice.Customer Review: I'd give this six stars if I could

I picked this up at Walmart because I needed a mirror to see my daughter while I was driving. I bought it because it was cute, and it looked like it would be interesting to her. I remember thinking that the sounds and lights would probably be a useless feature, but I love the rainforest pattern so I bought it anyway. I finally put the thing in the car about a month later when we were making the four-hour trek to Houston (her first long-ish car trip). She started getting fussy so I figured I'd give it a shot. Wow. That thing put her to sleep almost instantly. I was amazed. I was also impressed by battery life. We've been using it for almost a year and I think I've changed the batteries three times. Three. And I only use it when I need it, but it's seen plenty of action. I'm pretty pleased with battery usage, even with lights and sounds running. Now that she's closing in on a year, it doesn't put her to sleep anymore, but she still loves dancing to it and it has kept her occupied during 1400+ mile road trips. I really wish this had been available when our older two were babies. Our whole family jokes around about the wonders of 'the green button'. We never make a long trip without it, and I always make sure I pack extra batteries, just in case. Quite possibly the best $20 I've spent in baby products this time around. I was nervous about not being able to see my baby through the rearview mirror till I got this. It lights up, plays music and I can control it with a remote I put on the sun visor. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to adjust and attach it to the rear seat though.Customer Review: Okay but could be better

The mirror is cute and works well. My only recommendations would be to have a timer included in the settings because there are many times that we accidentally left it on after leaving the car which really drains the batteries fast. Also, the song variety could be a bit better. After only a few rounds I was going crazy with the repetive songs. The lights are not very visible during the daytime, but that's okay, I guess.Customer Review: Fantastic

This product allows you to see your baby in the rearview mirror. Gives you a sense of control. The music and lights distract the baby when he is fussy and gives you a few moments to find a place to pull over if necessary.
