We bought this mirror when our daughter was 4 weeks old. I was so tired of not being able to see her when I was driving, and we did alot of it! She loves to look at herself in the mirror and the lights that rotate keep her attention. Being able to control the volume also helps. At night, when without the lights I can't see her, I can turn on the lights and see what she is up too and if she is asleep, simpley turn the lights back off. It is also helpful if when she drops her pasifier, I can see where it fell and quickley reach back and put it straight back in her mouth without being dangerous to other drivers. The only complaints that I have are that you can't just turn it on and off on the actual mirror, it has to be with the remote and the remote doesn't fit on my sunvisor. It also doesn't fit on the headrest of my car very well, the velcrow isn't long enough. All in all, I love this mirror! I am more comfortable driving now that I can see her at all times. It has been wonderful and has let me feel even closer to my baby girl!Customer Review: Love It

I love this. How did I live with out this with my older child??
The mirror is HUGE. Not only can I see her as clear as day, she can see herself. I dont know if there is a newer version but unlike a previous reviewer, Mine has an on/off switch as well as volume control on the mirror. Anytime she gets fussy in the car I turn it on (with the remote I keep in a pocket on my visor) and she totally loves the music and lights.
I have two small complaints that dont detract from the toy. One, the remote is large and the clip doesnt attach to the visor. I had it bounce off my forhead the first time I tried to put it there.I have it in the pocket of my visor organizer but now I cant put the visor up. But its worth it to be able to instantly settle her down and see her. The other complaint is it was the DEVIL to put in my car. After many many tries I gave up and was ready to pitch it. My husband finally figured it out. Its instructions werent helpful. But once it was there, its great.

I certainly do not recommend this item. Music is not as loud as it should be so as to be able to hear it, my baby prefers me to sing. The mirror does not look the way it does in the Internet, it is boring and has no fun for a baby. It is too big and songs are too short; it would be better to have one long song. It is the first time I write about a Fischer price toy or whaterver; my wife and I have alwys bought Fischer but she persuades me to writr to you as we had problems with a magic dome a friend bought as as a present. This is the second time we see that we do not get what we see. It is not a wysiwyg thing. We expect , not a refund but a compensation. Maybe another mirror and we sent you this back as it is a lot of money for us in Argentina but we still bet on you because of your wonderful stuff. Yours is the decision to make as fell you take care of us and of our babies.

Customer Review: A blessing...and a curse!

I got this mirror as a gift...and loved it for four months! Yes, the music was annoying to anyone over the age of 2; yes, you could only see the lights at night; and yes, the remote was a pain. HOWEVER, the mirror was perfectly positioned and huge. I could see my son whenever I wanted and once the batteries died, we didn't replace them (no more music!). But yesterday I as was driving along without my son (a very rare occasion), the nylon strap snapped in half and the whole thing came crashing down into the car seat. I called Fisher Price only to be (rudely) told that it wasn't their problem. They directed me to Safe Fit's website. There was a phone number on the site but it was a long distance number. Instead of getting a human, I got voicemail. I e-mailed the company but have not yet heard back. Apparently, Fisher Price does not make alot of the baby stuff with thier name on it. I will think twice before buying a Fisher Price product!Customer Review: Ok product...

I think the idea of the lights and music is better than the actual product itself. The lights aren't bright enough to see during the day, so I mainly just use it as a mirror (an over-priced mirror, at that!). I have only used the lights and music probably about 10 times in about a 5 month period. My 6 month old has never really been very interested in it. Also, the biggest complaint I have is for cleaning the product. We had a small smudge on it one day and my husband used a very soft eyeglass cleaning cloth and it made the mirror blury. I have yet to figure out how to properly clean it. The directions say to use a soft cloth, they don't get much softer than eyeglass cloths. The mirror was then ruined, you couldn't see anything in it. We exchanged it, since I didn't have the receipt, for another one of the same and will hopefully not need to clean it! If so, I will definitely not replace it with the same over priced mirror.
