Baby Products Reviews of Fisher-Price Pretty Pink Fashion BouncerCustomer Review: Lovely Product Summary: 4 StarsMy daughter is 5 months old and she is now adjusting to the bouncer. I had a rocker before, but it was too big and cumbersome. This item is easy to carry about and the colours are very girly. The little pillow adds extra comfort and Jordan uses the toy bar as a foot rest. Worth the price.
Customer Review: ok for the first few months Summary: 3 StarsMy baby seems to like sitting in this bouncy chair as a safe alternative to laying flat. However, she is 5 months old and already seems to have outgrown the chair lengthwise. The whole chair is covered with pink fabric, and then the part at the foot of the chair is hard plastic and situated so that when she kicks her little feet, she is kicking this hard plastic part. I don't understand why Fisher Price developers didn't think ahead and spend the extra 4 cents on fabric to cover the top of the hard plastic part; however, perhaps Fisher Price marketing execs realized that if babies quickly outgrow the bouncy chair (before it's really necessary) parents will be likely to buy another similar item.
Customer Review: Perfect for the princess! Summary: 5 StarsThis is the only item from my baby shower that eight months later, I am still using on a daily basis. It is cute, girly, functional, and simple!!! Absolutely perfect. She slept in it when she was a newborn, and now she uses it to sit in while she watches a DVD or just chillin with her sister...Great buy, highly recommend!!!
Customer Review: How did we survive without this? Summary: 5 StarsWe bought this for our third daughter, only because we had a toddler and the new baby needed to be strapped into something for her own safety. (No room for a playpen.) We LOVE this chair (my husband chose it! he has finally embraced the pink). So much more comfortable than a carseat. Unlike the previous reviewer, I have nothing bad to say about the straps. They always seemed very comfortable to me.
My daughter kicks her feet and makes the chair bounce - so she gets to move a little. Her stomach muscles are very strong from all the kicking she does! And she appears to have a good sense of rhythm, too. At 5 months now, she pulls the handle to turn on the music at will, and is adept at pulling off the butterflies to play with them. Only bad thing about the chair is that we occasionally stubbed our toes on it at first (the base sticks out a bit from the chair) but we're used to it now and give it a wide berth. Also, my 3 yr old kept turning on the vibration, and running down the batteries until I stopped putting new ones in. I wish I'd gotten one of these chairs for my other two daughters when they were babies.
Customer Review: Overall Good Buy Summary: 4 StarsI have used this one and the kick n play (blue bouncer also by fisher price). The snap in toy bar is nice for carrying around bouncer from one room to another easily (without baby in it of course), and the softer toys are much quieter than on the blue bouncer. I was surprised to find that by 4 months, both of my twins have been able to pull the flower thing that plays music. I do think the straps on the kick n play were better. The straps look uncomfortable on the sides of their stomachs. (The blue bouncer, that was also used with my other two children as babies, has a wide strap between the legs that attaches directly to the back, so there is no strap on their side.) Other than this, I have been pleased with the bouncer. (The vibrator was a wonderful sleep aid during those first few months!)
