Customer Review: Not Designed Well for Assembly

If it's still up, take note of the rightmost photo taken by Amelia at the top left of the page. Under the seat are two bars that extend to the legs on the side. These bars bear the weight of the child.
There are 8 places that you drive screws from the seat or legs into these bars. In each case, the instructions read, "this may require extra force"...no kidding! Both my wife and I are very mechanically inclined, yet trying to line up and drive screws into this bar was very frustrating. Even when the holes line up the screws are very difficult to place, and half of these holes did not line up well.
After all the difficulty assembling this piece, I can't recommend it to anyone.

We've been using this chair for about 5 months. I love the bright colors and think it's super cute. The pad wipes up really easily with a damp cloth. I just machine-washed it for the first time and it came out looking brand new (I washed it on cold and dried it on a drying rack). LOVE the ability to take off the top tray. We use the tray as DD's plate all the time lately and I just give it a quick hand-wash. It does also fit in our dishwasher. The chair is comfortable for DD, attractive, and easy to keep clean. The only thing I don't like is that the wheel locks engage accidentally all the time, making it hard to pull the chair around. Not a big deal. Fischer-price greatly improved on the rainforest theme with this high chair. We've had it now for about a month and it's great. There is plenty of room for big babies like mine, but not too much room he can move around. The reclining feature is a nice one, has 3 settings and easily works with one hand. The seat cover actually stays pretty clean and wipes up easily even though it's a soft cloth material. The tray insert fits in my dishwasher which isn't a large one and locks on pretty snug. The height adjustments have a good range; I can lower it enough to go under dining table or high enough to reach counter high bar. This high chair has every feature I could possibly want. The height is adjustable, as well as the recline angle, and I can roll the high chair from room to room effortlessly.
The removable tray is so convenient, and the toy that came with it that stays securely on the tray via a suction foot keeps my baby boy entertained while I get his meal ready. The fabric cleans up so easily, it is amazing.
The high chair folds easily for trips to Grandpa's house, and you really can take the tray on and off with one hand. I highly recommend this product!

It's a sturdy, simple high chair in nice colors (blues & greens overall, with lots of animals). The tray is easy to take on & off, and can be done with one hand. The seat is height adjustable & leans at different angles. The fabric is easy to clean. It folds for storage between meals. The tray toy it comes with is fun for the baby, but the suction is not great (even the little one can knock it over easily), so I put teething rings on the tray instead. It was simple for my husband to assemble (just under 10 minutes).
