My son received this Dump Truck for Christmas and at the time was not quite 8 months old. He still plays with it today and he is now almost 11 months. We love the fact that it has 2 levels for volume control as well as an "off" option. It also has helped him develop a sense for hand/eye coordination as the dump truck has an area to fit the peek-a-blocks through. However, I would say his favorite part of this toy has probably been the blocks themselves. Each one is filled with something different and he just loves the blocks that make a sound when he shakes them. Great toy!Customer Review: Vroom! Vroom! Vroom! My son (now 13 months) received it as a gift and loves pushing it around and hearing the sounds! He loves all types of cars, but this one seems to be a favorite. He takes all the blocks out, dumps them and trys to put them back in. (Good concept to teach in and out) He loves the different cubes with it.
The pieces are easy for me to disassemble, my son has yet to figure out the back part of the truck comes apart. There are only 3 larger pieces (other than the blocks) which come apart.
Well worth it's price, this truck is big on fun!

I got this for my son for christmas when he was 14 months old . He has a lot of the peek a blocks toys. He really likes this truck. He likes putting the blocks in and dumping them. He will play with it for a while and he is picky about his toys. The dump part however does come off easy and I do wish that part was made better because it does get annoying haveing a 1 year old keep bringing it to you to put back together. And he gets mad at it cause he trys to put it back together and he cant. But I dont regret buying it. It was a good deal for the price.Customer Review: Son's new dump truck

I bought this for my 1 year old son. He loves to play with it since he has in the past had loads of fun playing with his older brothers steel dump truck. There are a few issues that I have, like some of the other reviews, is that the blue part comes apart easily and it's very annoying having to keep putting it back together over and over again. The music also gets annoying after a while but the off button is a nice option to have. The blocks fit nicely into the wheels of the truck which keeps them from losing. It seemed like a good idea when I bought it but my 10 mo old easily ripped off the back of the truck in the first couple minutes out of the book.
I put it back together and it just comes off again within seconds.
It makes a good noisy truck not a dump truck. Its one saving grace is a volume switch for quiet, loud, and no sounds.
I don't like how the block holder for the driver's head doesn't hold it as well, but the wheels can easily pop in blocks for some extra rattling effect.
