Customer Review: Best cradle/swing out there!

I bought this swing prior to my daughters birth. She is now 4 months old and has loved it from the beginning. She takes her morning nap in it every day. In the beginning I kept it in the reclining position without the toy bar, but now that she is bigger she enjoys the seated position with all the toys in front of her. I usually hook a couple more toys onto the bar arches for her as well.
I honestly think it's the best swing on the market because it has ALL the features that the other swings have, PLUS it has the star (night) lights above which the baby LOVES. The music plays continuously, so I never have to "push the button" twice. Another great feature on this swing that some others don't have is that it runs both on batteries OR electric so I don't have to keep purchasing batteries all the time. I think this item is a nursery MUST HAVE.

This swing has worked really well for us. Our lives would be so much harder without it! When we first brought our son home he wasn't immediately crazy about it. At about a month and a half of age is when it became really valuable. Our son is a reluctant napper and we use this swing for at least one of daily naps. If we are going to be busy for a minute and want him safely entertained, he happily watches the mobile (and now at 4 months has started batting at the stars--so cute!). We use the plug-in option. I think buying batteries for this would be very expensive. At least for our uses since sometimes he naps for over an hour in the swing.
I would definitely recommend this swing to other parents. We have had no problems with it, the music is not annoying, and it gets our son to nap! That is priceless to a new parent!

We really didn't use this as much as I thought we would, but when we did use it during months 1-4, our son seemed to like it. We mainly used it for a place for Baby to take his evening nap, and evening is when babies are usually the fussiest. Another reason we used it so much in the evenings--it was nice for both of us to come home from work and let him take his nap out in the main area of the house rather than putting him in his crib when we don't see him much during the day. Baby can nap while parents cook dinner. Not sure what the 6 speeds are for--we never could tell the difference. Also, we really only used the side-to-side swinging; Baby seemed to like that best. As for quality--it's Fisher Price, and we didn't have trouble with the motor or anything. Another 'plus'--runs on electricity or batteries. Our 3 month old daughter received this swing as a gift for Christmas from her grandparents. Our daughter loves the swing and so do we. She enjoys the different musical tunes, as well as the nature sounds. Her face always lights up when the stars and mobile start up. We apperciate the different function buttons and switches, being able to control the sound, mobile and swing all seperatly is great.
Every now and then if the swing has been going for more than 40 minutes, it makes a light grinding sound, but nothing that is bothersome. It only lasts a few seconds and then is gone.
We have 2 other babys due in our family this year and we know we'll be getting them this swing!
Love this swing! It keeps our daughter occupied and happy for good chuncks of time...while we get stuff done!
Customer Review: Amazing & Much Needed 'Tool' for New Moms!

My sisters 'package' came about 5 weeks early and 1 week before her baby shower! Auntie to the rescue! I had planned on a less expensive (ok cheap) gift but after laying my eyes on that cute kid, I wanted ONLY the best! So I ran out to the stores found the perfect item, BUT wait! It wasnt in stock! Who ya gonna go to? AMAZON! I wrote down the model # and headed home! 2 days later and $21 cheaper, I had this wonderful crib/swing. 1 day later the 1st Time Mom and her Prince arrived home. Mom was in a lot of pain and the little one wasnt backing down! The swinging mode & light was just what the doctor ordered! My sister told me it (the cradle/swing) is a real life saver and he loves it! My nephew is 3 weeks old now and its the only place he'll quietly retreat to when not being held. This is a MUST BUY!
