Customer Review: Beautiful swing, though coloring is odd...

I'm having a boy and I had expected this swing to be baby blue. I just received it and it's actually lavender and much more girly-looking than I'd expected. It is still adorable, and I'm glad I purchased it. However, you're looking for a blue swing, this isn't. -Really, not blue at all. It's still okay for a boy, and would work beautifully for a girl too!
Seeing all the pieces laid out on the floor, I was a little overwhelmed with the thought of assembling it. However, it was super easy and took only about 15 minutes. Overall I love this swing, and the only con so far is the color. I posted pics to show the actual purple color.
*I'll be posting a real review once we've used the swing more, as I've noticed a lot of consumers have had problems with this product's motor in the past. Hopefully Fisher-Price has worked out the kinks and it will be a positive one(fingers crossed)!

I did my fair share of research when I decided to buy a new swing. This one was surprisingly one of the cheapest and also had all the features I was looking for. The thing I like the most is the light show, which keeps my baby's attention. Another great thing about this swing is that it plugs into the wall so I dont have to buy batteries all the time. You can also switch it to battery power if you want to take it outside or something. The mobile is cute and the sounds are soothing. My 18 month old and 3 year old love to play with it also. The volume control is also handy, I turn the volume up when he is just sitting there to keep him entertained; and I turn the volume down lower when I want him to go to sleep. I saw a lot of complaints about the color. The checkered parts of the swing do look more purple than blue, but in my opinion it is not overdone. Very cute swing. The motor is a little loud, but it's the first swing that I've purchased, so I don't have anything else to compare it to. The sounds are nice, the stars are really sweet (when it's dark), and the swing is really plush. I wish it had an option to sit more upright (the upper setting is still pretty low). Also, in the pictures the fabric looks more blue than purple, but it is VERY purple. It's a lighter somewhat-girly purple. All the pics show baby boys in the swing and it looks pretty blue to me, but my husband and I were shocked at how purple it really is! My son hated this swing until he was 3 months old. Now, he loves it when we turn out the lights so he can see the stars reflect off of the mesh netting. He's 15 lbs, and the swing seems to have trouble getting him going. It doesn't swing him very hard, even at the highest setting, but he doesn't seem to mind.Customer Review: Do not think twice about buying this!

This was gift from my sister and I must say the best gift I have received so far for my baby. My husband and his friend were able to put it together in very little time. We have been using it since my baby was a week old and she loves it immensely. She wants to be put in the swing when she begins feeling sleepy. The gentle rocking would put her to sleep within minutes. In addition, now that she is 2 months old and has begun to notice things, she loves the little mobile that goes around and even tries to talk to and smile at the little teddy and stars.
She is put in the crib only at night and for a better part of the day she is in the swing which means we use the swing on an average for at least about 9 hours in a day. So far it has been functioning great and we have absolutely no complaints. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive but good product!

This Swing is a must for any parent of a new baby! Me and my wife are new parents of a baby boy and sometimes he just wants all the attention. At a month old we put him in this swing and it is incredible how quiet he stays watching the little bear and 2 stars circle around while listening to the music.
This swing is SUPER easy to install. One person can do it in no time. It is very cute, but most important of all, it has an AC adapter!! Which means that you don't have to spend a fortune on batteries! Just plug it to the wall, adjust the settings and that's it! It has multiple buttons to control the different settings, from how fast it swings, song, volume, toy rotation and light projection. Very user friendly.
Short and sweet: from my personal experience I recommend this product without a doubt. I believe you will find it very useful.
