I love that this swing has an a/c adapter and give the swing 4 stars for that alone! We were constantly replacing batteries on our one that died. Our daughter loves the swing, but because she's a little older, she's constantly grabbing the mobile and probably killing the motor a bit. She also pulls the netting down.
I also don't like that the seat is positioned in the way it is. We've found our daughter perpendicular in the swing because she can so easily sit up. That didn't happen in her old swing.
I think the light is a little bright, perhaps keeps her up sometimes. But, I love the cute design and the music is great.

This is a really nice swing. I use to have the Fisher Price fish swing. We had two and both died on us. This one has so much more room to them. It is also really nice that it plugs into an outlet. No more rechargable batteries! The one draw back is that the star light is quite bright. I held my newborn all the time because it seemed once I put her down, she'd get a little fussy. I was trying to heal from a c section and very tired and my back was killing me. A friend suggested this swing because it has the option to swing side to side instead of head to toe direction which some babies don't seem to like. My daughter has loved it from day one. I got it when she was a month old and now she's four months old and I use it all the time. She takes daytime naps in it once or twice a day and she LOVES the mobile. My back loves this swing also. Fairly easy to assemble.
