I bought this for our grandson, who is 10 weeks old. I am able to put him in the swing still awake, sometimes a little fussy, and he will go to sleep every time. This is a good buy for a Grandma who prefers holding or carrying their grandbaby ALL the time and never wanting to put them down; it's second best to Grandma's arms!
Holden loves the music, too, and is already curious seeing his little reflection above him.
So glad I bought this, and the price was the lowest I had seen.

So I researched alot of chairs and swings while I was pregnant and I wasn't sure which one to get. I skipped on this swing because I thought it was expensive. The one I ended up buying did not work for my newborn (Soothing Glider). So I came back and bought this Fisherprice Cradle Swing, I am so glad I did.
This is a well made chair, I cannot say enough about it. My daughter sleeps as soon as I put her in this chair, and if she doesn't want to sleep she will lay awake in this chair for sometimes a hour just hanging out. This has allowed me to shower, clean the house and write reviews on amazon lol...you know all the things that get kinda neglected when your a new parent. Its a great swing, I hope you will love it as much as I do.
*couple tips, if you have a newborn, put the swing in the lowered positon when in motion.
*It is easy to put together, just follow the steps, 1, 2, 3....
*I have the base model and its great I was thinking it may not be as good as the others, but its great, I may get the pink one later. Its worth the money deffinetly.

The swing came right on time. I was suprised that everything was in order because the price was so cheap! I found the swing at a few stores for over $100 and refused to get it for that price. The swing was easy to put together and I can't wait for my daughter to get here and use it. The music and motion is easy to take (some swings are so annoying!). Overall I am very pleased with the purchase. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I have yet to use the product.Customer Review: Love the swing

I would definately recommend this to other parents. I also love that you can use batteries or plug it in. Leaving it plugged in really saves money on the batteries.
