Hi.
I bought this swing for my best friend who had a newborn girl. I also purchased a simular product in green for another best friend of mine who had a girl.
both of my friends adored the swing.
they both told me it was the best baby gift they had recieved.
they both told me that when their child became fussy, they slipped them into the swing and their babies calmed down.
the only negative is that after 6-8 months,
the baby grows out of it,
so the gift gets packed away.

I have had this swing a little less than 2 months. I bought it for my 5 month old because she wouldn't sit in a traditional swing and I thought this looked like a comfy place to nap. It was a lifesaver til a week ago and and the motor burned up. I called Fisher Price and the part is on backorder til mid- May. I guess I just got a lemon because everyone else's seem to be fine. I am TRULY disappointed in Fisher Price. They usually exceed my expectaions. I paid $150 for this and it lasted til the water got hot and thats about it.Customer Review: ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL

I own both the pink cradle swing and the tan colored one for my boy/girl twins. They are almost one year old and we still use these swings for them. They have been wonderful for them since they day they came home from the hospital!! The only thing is I just realized about a week ago the the seats recline and lay all the way back just like a cradle. (hence the name cradle swing I guess) I wish I had known that when they were first born and couldn't sit up, it would have been so much easier if I had know it reclined.Customer Review: My baby loves it

Fisher-Price Butterfly Garden Papasan Cradle Swing I had this product in my registry and got it for my baby shower. We are using this since she was 2 weeks old. Now 6+ months she tries to reach for the butterflies and giggles when she touches them. If we put her in this, I'm sure to get 2 hour window to finish all the work. The product manual does not have age or weight limit. I'm not sure how long I can safely use this.Customer Review: I WANTED baby to love it....

I really thought she would love it and I anxiously awaited it arrival. Unfortunately, she just isn't into it - we call it the "Swing of Perpetual Tears" as she starts crying whenever we put her in it. Now since she turned about 6 weeks, she will sit in for about 10 mins before she starts to cry so we are hoping that maybe she will grow into it a little more as its so cute. And I LOVE that it runs on electric and not just batteries - that is the main reason that I bought this particular swing
