I adore this swing and more importantly so does my 3 month old daughter. This swing retails for $[...] so this is a steal at Amazon. The cheapest I have seen it was $[...] on sale through Fisher Price. That being said, I did have a problem with the motor...it made a horrible clicking sound. However, I called Fisher Price and they sent me out a brand new one when I complained. Great Customer Searvice! So do not be hesitant to buy Fisher Price products because they will make sure that you are a happy customer in the event of a broken or damage product.Customer Review: The best item I purchase

This has to be the best item that I purchased for my son. He was born prematurely and this swing was the only thing that would calm him after his night time feedings. He loves this swing. Now, he is two months old and I found last night that he really enjoys the side swing position better than the front to back. The music really calms him. The only bad thing about this swing is that even at the lowest setting the swing is a little strong. I usually don't even use it. I just push the swing and the motion will last long enough to sooth him. Overall though, I think that I got my money's worth from this product.Customer Review: Swings too fast and too loud

Bought this with great expectations after reading the other reviews. Problems were evident immediately, though.
1. The swing is MUCH too fast on the lowest setting. My 1 month old son starts to scream in terror after 5 minutes in the swing as it picks up momentum. By choosing a cheap driving mechanism, Fisher Price has no control over the actual speed of the swing. If they implemented a gear system, they could - but it would cut into their profit margin.
2. The motor is quite loud when starting up - pops and clicks. Once it reaches speed, it's quiet - but the swing is too fast at that point to be comfortable.
3. The seat cushion is VERY thin and cheaply made. It has barely any cushioning material and can hardly be called 'papasan.'
All in all, very disappointed with this product. It could have been better and frankly terrifies my son.

We brought my son home from the hospital almost 2 weeks ago. The 1st night was a disaster. I tried to have him sleep in the cradle next to my bed...with NO luck. He didn't seem to like to be so flat when he slept. The next night we put together the swing and placed it by my side of the bed...BINGO!! He slept so well that night and the subsequent nights that I actually have to wake him up in the middle of the night to nurse. I am getting sleep I never thought I could get thanks to this swing. The motor is a bit noisy...as other reviews have stated, but it isn't anything that prevents me, my husband, or my baby from sleeping. It does take up quite a bit of space too, but again , I knew that before I purchased it and it is a small price to pay for the peace we have in the night. The price was right and the free shipping FANTASTIC! This was a great purchase!Customer Review: great swing

We love the swing! My husband said that it's worth all the money you pay for it and more. The swing gives us the freedom, since our daughter loves being held all the time, now we just put her there and we don't have to hold her. She loves watching the birds move above her, and watching herself in the mirror on the top.The two-way swinging gives the baby the variety,so she is not bored. Just love it!
