Customer Review: Utterly Adorable!

The minute I saw this swing online I knew it was the one! It's even cuter in person and extremely easy to assemble... I put it together myself at 35 weeks pregnant!
Here are a few things I like about it:
~ The plug in feature is great and you don't have to have batteries in it for the plug in feature to work.
~ The seat cover unbuckles easily so you can throw it in the washer.
~ The seat moves very smoothly, you could probably do it without disturbing the baby at all (I'll be trying it in a couple weeks!)
~ The butterflies projected from the light dome do actually look like little butterflies on the canopy too, not just light blurs...
~ The music and nature sounds are nice and soothing, not annoying and there is always the volume dial...
I would definitely recommend this swing, it's by far the cutest and most girly one I've seen! Fisher Price did a great job with this one!! :)

I have recently had my FIFTH child and so I have experienced many baby items, including swings, and this one is the BEST! It has a cushiony, comfy seat for baby with different recline options; soothing lights and mobile for baby to have something to look at; several musical tunes with adjustable volume control. There is also a dial to set the swing motion -- to go slowly or faster -- and the best feature of all is that this cradle swing can be changed to swing side to side, or front to back. Sometimes we put our baby in swinging front to back, and she'll cry -- we then change the swing position to go side to side, and she immediately stops crying and starts to fall asleep. And vice versa, sometimes we put her in side to side, and she wants to swing front to back -- how great to have that option so she can swing whatever way she's in the mood for! I was given this swing as a gift and I have to say that I LOVE it and so does our daughter BUT and there is a HUGE but there!!! 3 weeks after having it and using it very lightly ( she was only 2 weeks old when she first went in the swing! ) the motor broke. I was so upset. Fisher Price had me send then the entire seat into them and they would send me a whole new swing because the motors were on backorder. Well, I had to wait almost 3 weeks for a whole new swing. So I got the new one put together and guess what?!?!? 2 DAYS later the motor goes out AGAIN! WHAT IS UP WITH THIS?!?!? I mean this swing is expensive. I love the swing when it works but come on Fisher Price, get your act together here! I just got my replacement motor today and hopefully this one will work longer than 3 weeks. The swing itself when it is working is great. We love the music and my daughter LOVES to watch the butterflies.Customer Review: cute swing!

I really like the swing - it's so adorable and my daughter likes it too. The only thing that you have to be worried about is if you have a older toddler, he/she just may want to use it! My son is 2 and just under 40lb and he likes to climb on it and just mess around with it.
The other negative is that theres this toy peice you put on top between the baby's leg and it snaps in place. I wish it was easier to unsnap or snap on. It would also have been nice to have it stay attached but just swing down or have some hook on the swing to hook the toy bar. I have to put it on the floor when not in use. It's not easy to slide the baby in while the toy bar is attached though.
Also , it's a very bulky peice. Expect to leave it in one place permanently. It can't be carried around the house day to day whenever you feel like.
Other than that - great swing!

I must admit, this is the third one of these swings that we have had. The first two did not function properly, they would not swing side to side..but the third one was a charm! My daughter loves this swing! The seat is very soft and padded well. The headrest is a must! At first she did not care about the light show at all, but now that she is three months she loves the light show and the butterflies, they make her smile! The only reason I get ANY sleep at night is due to this swing. I just keep it on side to side with the lowest setting and she can sleep up to eight hours without making a sound. The music choices are nice, and the natures sounds are great! I would recommend this swing to anyone!!! I would also recommend getting through (...) because their price is the best, and they are really nice if you need to return a defected item. Hope this helps you decide!!!
