Customer Review: MY BABY GOT HIS HEAD STUCK!

We loved this swing because it was small and the baby would sleep in it for hours. This swing was recalled in May 2007 due to an entrapment issue, but the model we had was produced AFTER the recall. However, my 4-month old son has gotten his head/neck entrapped between the seat and the frame in a "post-recall" Rainforest version of the Open Top Take-Along Swing, TWICE! It was purchased at the end of 2008 and my son was tightly strapped in but able to use his feet to push himself sideways and get his neck trapped while it was swinging. It is dangerous and was terrifying to see. Although our model was not included in the official 2007 recall of this swing, the problem has still obviously not been fixed...don't buy this swing, it is dangerous and not worth the risk!Customer Review: Compact, convenient and a good buy for the money

I have a very fussy baby who would not fall asleep even when exhausted. The only way he would fall asleep is by cradling him, but when it's 4 am and you have only 3 hours of sleep, you need some help. We live in a small house and we are on a budget, so this swing was perfect for us. What a great value. Well constructed with soft, plush fabrics, and the music is nice and soothing. My baby boy loves it! Finally, some relieve for very sleep deprived parents.Customer Review: This is a redesigned model, not in recall

Some reviews have stated that this product is in recall. That is not true. The original model (numbers K7203, K7192, and K7195) was recalled in 2007 and discontinued. This new model, M6709, is a redesigned version which remedies the problems parents experienced with the original product. Note that it has been nearly 2 years since the original product was recalled; items purchased new from Amazon will not be affected. If however you choose to purchase this item used, or from another seller (ebay, etc.), be sure that you are purchasing the redesigned version. Customer Review: excellent product

My daughter is now 9 months old, and we don't use this swing as much, but we certainly got our money's worth out of it. Living in a small space, it's perfect. It hardly takes up any floor space, which is great, and also folds up easily to be stored away. For this reason, it's also easy to move from room to room, which proved to be a great way to keep our daughter entertained and close to us. The batteries seem to have lasted us a long time. For a few of her first nights she slept in this swing for hours, when nothing else worked, and the battery life never failed us! We also did not feel like she was ever moving faster than she enjoyed, which is a problem others have experienced. This swing got us through some tough nights, and also some fun days!
