My baby loves this swing, but i can't use the swing function because even on the lowest setting it goes way too fast. She only weighs 5 kilos but we tried it with an 8 kilo baby (which is almost the limit for this swing) and it still goes too fast on the lowest setting. Anyway, i agree with everything the other reviewer said in his pros and cons. The motor is loud, but the fish hypnotise the baby and she loves the lights changing color. It's very nice to have the variety of sound options (music, ocean waves, rain, etc). Also it is important that it is a "cradle" swing in the sense that a newborn baby can sit in a reclined position.Customer Review: ANOTHER MUST HAVE!

We have had no issues with this swing! We have used this with two of our children and we just love it!
The music and the lights and the ability to change positions is FANTASTIC!

If your baby needs motion to sleep, or just needs to be in an inclined position, buy this!! The motion ranges from slow to really fast (which my first baby really needed), and it is the only one I am aware of that allows you to choose either side-to-side or back-and-forth motion (some babies have a preference). Daughter #2 really likes the music and lights.
My first baby would *only* fall asleep and stay asleep in *this* swing. I was worried that she would need Fisher Price to make a model for 10 year olds, but at 4.5 months, she just didn't need it anymore. A true, true life and sanity saver.

I purchased this swing 5 years ago for my first son. It has lasted (with 3 head replacments) through three children. Now on my third child I needed a new head again. So I called the company (who is always so gracious and usually sends them free) to get a new one, but they said the reconfigured the motor head and would send me out the new one for $25. A small price to pay for a happy baby. However, the new head (has aqua colors instead of blue) was VERY poorly made. There seems to be no insulation from the noise of the motor. And it makes a terrible squeaking sound where it fits on the polls. The old motor head had great insulation and you barely ever heard the motor, unless it got back swing and slowed down from a blanket or something. I have had to put up with the sound, as has my baby, because they don't make the old head anymore and I sorely miss it. All in all, not a bad swing, but beware when buying one that they sound very loud. Customer Review: My Baby Loves His Swing!

We have had this swing for over six months now. My little boy loves it. It is a very soothing swing. He likes the music and the mobile with the lights on. This has always been able to get him to go to sleep and stay asleep all night.
The only real issue I have with it is that we go through two packs of batteries a week. I really wish there was an AC adapter or the batteries would last longer.
After having the swing for four months, the motor went out (I kind of freaked, because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get him to go to sleep and then stay asleep.), but I called Fisher Price and they sent out a new one free of charge. I received it quickly.
The battery life in both motors seem to be the same.
Overall, I highly recommend the swing. It was a great investment.
