Customer Review: Early in the game, but ...
Summary: 3 Stars

My daughter is almost a month old now and we've used the seat several times while I've been working on the computer (like now!) and doing things needing done around the house. Some days she likes it, some days she doesn't, but that's pretty much the same with everything around here.
I agree with those who say the auto shut-off time is too short -- I wish I had the option of turning off the sounds/action when it's convenient for ME, not when the machine preset tells it to shut off. Sometimes I need half an hour to do something like scrub the tub, and I don't want to have to keep running back to turn it back on. As for the baby-induced features, my daughter is still too small to make any of it "go" by herself.
I'm not sure whether this would be an improvement, but it seems to me it would be more advantageous were the lights behind/inside the little "aquarium" where the fish are. My daughter tracks lights a lot better than the movements of small things like those fish; if the lights were in the same area as the fish, she might notice both.
Anyway, it's better than nothing, and I hope she doesn't outgrow it too quickly!

Customer Review: Awsome toy!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

As a new mom, I wanted to get my baby toys that would make her (and us!) happy. I registered for the aquarium bouncer and got it at one of the baby showers. We also wanted to buy the new swing (about $90), but decided to borrow one from a friend. I am so glad I didn't buy the swing, because my daughter could care less for the swing, but absoluteley LOVES the bouncer. We put her in the bouncer when she was about 7 weeks old. The toys in the screen (yellow starfish, and the kissing fish) caught her attention imediately. She can't reach the linkados yet, but she enjoyes the bouncing, the sounds and the fish. Sometimes the vibrator feature help calming her, but not always. When she couldn't hold her head, I used a towel to prop it, or you can use a head support of your choice. The only thing I don't care for is the motor which is too noisy. But if you think that kids like white noises, this one becomes such a noise. I would highly recommend this toy. Of course, babies are different, and what works for one, might not work for another. Anyway, my daughter prefers the bouncer over the swing, at least at this age (and she is 10 weeks now).

Customer Review: What a great product!
Summary: 5 Stars

We got this as a gift right before our daughter was born. Little did we know this bouncer would become the most indespensible item we owned! The neat thing to me is that the bouncer becomes a different toy to her each week as she develops. When she was brand new she could only really appreciate the vibrations and sounds, but that was plenty. I could set it next to the tub and it would keep her calm and distracted long enough for me to get a bath when I was alone. As she grew and her vision improved she got to start enjoying the great show that goes on in the window. All those bubbles, the kissing fish, the star that does somersaults, it's cute and very hypnotic. I often notice her smiling and kicking with delight while watching this show. And as her kicks are getting stronger, we are able to switch it over to interactive mode, where her movements influence the sounds. Now, at 12 weeks old, she is just starting to kick and grab at the fish and seahorse that hang down. So once again, a new toy! Not a day goes by that my husband and I don't sing the praises of this fun, entertaining little invention. I highly recommend!

Customer Review: Soothing and entertaining for baby
Summary: 4 Stars

Being a first-time mom can be overwhelming with all the products out there and what everyone 'recommends'. But this bouncer by far, is one of the best items we have for the baby. As our baby was colicky the first 3 months, this bouncer was very helpful in soothing him and distracting him for short periods of time so I could get some housework done. To an adult, the two kissing fish and the starfish going around in circles is not very stimulating and very repetitive. But, our baby was so interested by the bubbles, motion, and accompanying music. It's not too easy to travel with but we managed to fit it into the trunk of our small car to take to grandparents' house often.

The only complaint I have is that the first one we received as a gift didn't function properly: the bubbles didn't work so the fish didn't move. But after I exchanged it, I haven't had a problem with it since.
Once our baby learned to crawl and move around more, he doesn't like staying in it. I would recommend this from 2 months to 6 months of age as after that, the baby is really too big to be contained in it safely.

Customer Review: Great bouncer, Maybe Best on Market!
Summary: 5 Stars

I know a lot of people with this bouncer and have used it for my twins, my boy, my son's girl, my son's boy, and my new baby boy (3mo). Here's what I like:

Pros:

-It's got a few different songs.
-It has two modes. In one, baby activates bubbles or music or what have you, depending on what setting it's on. The other is contunious play.
- There are I believe five different settings. In each, the star and the fish move. The first mode is bubbles, and music, the next is bubbles and ocean noise, the next is just bubbles, and the others I believe are bubbles and sounds.
- I really like the design and the color. It's new and different. In fact, I have the swing and the crib toy as well.
-My kids like it!

Cons:
-Though I've never had a problem with the kid's sliding down, the seat is at an ackward angle and gives the impression that he might.
-The straps are okay, but the thing that you hook them into is really small. It might be too small for a big baby when they got older.

All in all, it's a great bouncer.
