I received many items for my son; this was the most invaluable. He is colick-y and prone to irritation; not much sleep in this house! But I wouldn't have received any at all without this bouncy chair. He LOVES it. It's the only place I can put him for more than 5 mintutes without him creating a fuss! The vibration immediately soothes him. Some say all bouncy chairs are the same; I must disagree. The big draw on this item is the aquarium bar; my son is fascinated with it. The ocean creatures are adorable, and the music (unlike most baby toys) is beautiful and full, not tinny. This whole line from Fisher Price is quite good; we have the crib aquarium too and it's a hit. In fact, I wish I'd gotten the Ocean Wonders swing instead of our Graco model.
Quick to soothe, comfort, and entertain, this bouncy chair is a winner. My one complaint is that the motor has started to give us problems. To Fisher Price's credit, they have sent us another, no questions asked.

We bought this chair for our 4th baby out of desperation. I usually make all my babies spend their waking time on the floor, but our 4th had really bad acid reflux the first few months and needed to spend her time in a sitting position. She hated the swing and the car seat and I was tired of holding her all day. We've had other Ocean Wonder toys and enjoyed them so we gave this a try. We love this chair! It has a very comfy seat and is just the right angle for a newborn. The toy is engaging and captured her attention right away. Now that she is older she likes to sit and kick the toys to make the sounds herself. Our three-year-old climbed on it and it did not get bent out of shape (a problem we've had with past chairs). It does burn through the batteries though. The vibration feature is very soft so I don't always realize it's running when I take her out of the chair--which is part of my battery problem. We really love this chair and would recomend it to anyone.Customer Review: THE shower savior!

All I can say is trying to take a long shower while tending to baby is not an easy task. This bouncer has been the life saver for that part of each day! It did take some time for my baby to fit into it safely. Without some body control and good weight the baby can actually slide/fall to the side becoming a bit hazardous. The belt/strap piece does not come up high enough on the belly to keep baby too secure and in place. Also, the weight of the body must create the cocoon so to speak to keep them secure. Once he hit about 5 weeks though this became the charm and he is quite safe in it! He loves all the modes on it- if he is really active he loves to activate the bubbles and music and fish himself otherwise I set it to auto and he just stares in awe each time! A 40 minute session in there can still keep them amused! So enjoy your peaceful shower ladies! The vibration is a fun option too. It is real colorful and the bubbles and misc features make it a sure win!Customer Review: Great bouncer

I have a 3 month old son, and he is in love with his bouncer. We got it as a shower gift, and are pretty glad!
I find that with most of the aquarium line, its more along the lines for playing or for occupying your baby (bright colors, loud cheery music ect...) and thats what we use this bouncer for
Its great for keeping my boy happy. The fish are so funny to him and he loves the mosic. It bounces nicely and my 2 1/2 year old even tryed sitting it (but after a stern warning has stayed clear ever since!) So its durable! I dont know how long we will be using this, our son is a premie, but in a month we will be looking for an exersaucer, or will be taking out our old one from the basement (thats probably whats gonna be happening!) So this is great for a newborn, but once your baby gets active, I think its time for more stimulation, although this will be around for about another month or so before it moves down to another expecting parent!

My son has loved this bouncer since he was two weeks old. During those early days, he did not need the aquarium toy bar. I would just put him in the bouncer and the vibrations would keep him calm and even put him to sleep. I felt uncomfortable leaving him in his bassinet or play yard while I showered, so I put him in the bouncy seat in the bathroom. That way I could peek out and check on him - great for a nervous first-time mom. Also, it is so light that I could carry the bouncer with my son in it from room to room with me - no need to wake him up to move him around. This portability really made it easier for me to get things done around the house without having to run to the baby's room every time he dropped his pacifier.
Now that he is five months old, he loves the toy bar with the fish and bubbles, too. He prefers this bouncy seat to the ones at his friends' houses and at his day care. I don't know what we would have done without it.
