Customer Review: Horrible for babies, great for toddlers

I got this one (exactly the same just different toys) 3 years ago when my daughter was born, first, moving the rocker from a position to another is really hard and requires both hands and a foot and placing the baby somewhere else before that. Second, my baby never really enjoyed it, she always cried on it, hated the vibrate mode and until she was 3 months it always seemed to me like she was falling down from that thing. I just stopped using it for her and gave it do my son.I must say my son who was 3 years old at that time really liked to rock in the chair, but it was too small for him, even though he was supposed to fit in it according to the maximum weight they say it can support.
So if you get it for a baby, pick another one, but if it's for a toddler, go get it.
Fisher-Price had at that time a swing that converts in high chair, I've been looking for a similar one but all I find is a swing OR a high chair. That swing-high chair my daughter really loved it, I would give it 10 stars if possible, I don't know if they stopped selling it or why, but it was great!

This was a gift and we weren't sure about it at first. But our baby is five months old and still loves this chair. I've been using it since almost day 1 to have a safe place to put her when I have other things to do, but she can still see and interact with me. She finds it very comfy and used to nap in it. The rocking and vibrating often can soothe her. One funny thing is that we call it "the poop chair." Seems whenever she sits in it and hasn't had a #2 for the day, we get one! We had problems with constipation early on, so we were happy about this. Now, if we need to go out, I put her in the chair so she'll do it before we go! I therefore also like that the cover can easily be taken off and washed. My husband is not handy at all, and he's the one who put it together, so it can't be too difficult to do. I like the velcro straps to attach toys so she can always grab them but they won't fall on the floor. The clips on the seat make it easy to get her in and out, but be careful that skin is out of the way - it really hurts if pinched in those clips.Customer Review: The best bouncer chair you can buy

I would highly recommend this chair to anyone. I feel it is the best gift I could have received. It is great for newborns to lay flat or with the slight angle safely. Also it is the best thing as they get older, all the other bouncers I've seen are not any use once the baby is a few months old and much heavier. My baby has loved this bouncer/rocker chair. It has been great for laying down, rocking to sleep, sitting up, playing with the toy bar, hearing music play from the monkey, the colors are excellent for the babies eyes. I can get things done around the house because the chair is so great for him to sit anywhere in it. He started enjoying the toy bar around 3-4 months old, all I did was add links to the toys to make them longer. This chair is so ideal that my mother went out and bought one for her house to use when she babysits. The other bouncers are so not worth it you only get a little use out of them, babies outgrow those types quick. This is not only a bouncer but a chair and a rocking chair that your baby can get use out of for years!!!Customer Review: A "Must-have" for new moms!

This rocker is by far the best thing that I registered for!!! I had a friend recommend it and I am so pleased. My son is now 2 months old and I have used it since he was a newborn. The black and white contrast of the toy bar catches even the littlest one's attention and the wide base and large seat make him feel secure. He has plenty of room to kick and wiggle in it safely and it supports him well enough to take a nap in as well. The vibrating feature is very quiet, so much so we sometimes forget to turn it off! It is very easy to assemble and the kickstand reclines it back far enough to put a newborn in without worrying about head support. The entire seat and toys feature such playful and fun colors, and easily entertains my son long enough for me to take a shower and get ready for work in the morning, all while he's right next to me instead of in his crib. And while he was colicky the first month it seemed to be the only thing to soothe him. I've used other bouncers that friends of mine own and this is far superior. A FRIEND TOLD ME ABOUT THIS CHAIR AND SHE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT. I GOT IT WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS 7 MONTHS OLD, THE SECOND DAY SHE WAS IN IT, SHE LEANED FORWARD TO GRAB A TOY SHE DROPPED AND THE WHOLE CHAIR FLIPPED FORWARD TRAPPING HER BENEATH IT BECAUSE SHE WAS STRAPPED IN. SHE LANDED FACE FIRST AND BRUISED HER NOSE AND FOREHEAD PRETTY GOOD. I TRIED THE CHAIR AGAIN NOW THAT SHE IS 11 MONTHS OLD, AND SHE IMMEDIATELY WENT FORWARD TO GRAB A TOY, LUCKILY SHE IS BIG ENOUGH NOW THAT SHE CAUGHT HERSELF WITH HER HANDS AND CLIMBED OUT, EVEN WITH THE SAFETY BELT ON. SHE CAN ALSO TURN HERSELF OVER AND FLIP IT IVER BACKWARDS AND CLIMB OUT THAT WAY. SO I HAVE JUST PUT IT UP NOW. IF YOU HAVE A NEWBORN OR BABY THAT ISN'T GRABBING YET, THIS IS PROBABLY A GOOD PRODUCT, BUT ONCE THEY START PLAYING--TRUST ME--GET RID OF IT OR PUT IT UP! I WAS ALSO TOLD WHEN I INITIALLY BOUGHT IT, THAT THEY DISCONTINUED MAKING THIS PRODUCT, I ACTUALLY HAD TROUBLE FINDING IT, I WISH I WOULD HAVE NEVER FOUND IT NOW! MAKES ME WONDER WHAT "DISCONTINUED" ACTUAllY MEANS!
