Customer Review: My baby doesn't like it too much, but its ok

I bought this for my baby when she was four months old. The toys that come with it are a toy shaped like a lamb's head with a spinning ball on the bottom with a rattle in it and a pig toy that is almost identical except it is shaped like a pig's head and has different colors. Then there is a cow head shaped toy with a cloth covered elastic pull cord. These toys were not interesting to my baby for long. My baby never liked the vibration under the seat either. The back of the rocker is basically just a sling so it makes her back rounded and my baby doesn't like this, she likes to sit up straight and that isn't remotely possible in this chair so she complains whenever we put her in it (she is 6 months now). My baby always sits up in it and it has never flipped forward on her, but as with most toys babies should be attended in these things. But there are a couple things I like about it. Toys each attach to the top by small velcro straps that hang down so any toy with a strip attached to it like the baby gyms can replace any of these toys. But the way my baby likes playing with it most is when she's on the floor she will pull it across the floor and move it around as she moves on her belly - she loves it that way. I like the fact that it can be a toddler rocker for her if she likes when she's older. I'd say as baby rockers go this one is good, but you might want to find one with more useful toys.Customer Review: Fun at all different stages!

My son and I have used this rocker for three months now and I keep finding new ways this rocker is useful for us. When he was little it was wonderful just for the vibrating and the ability to rock or be stable. When he started to enjoy being in the seated position it was great because he could be seated and mommy did not have to hold him the whole time. He loves the toys on it. He talks to the little pig all the time. It goes to every room very easily so he can watch mommy get any needed chores done. When he gets a little fussy the more he moves the more it rocks and he sometimes calms right down. There are some times he would get bored with it for a few days. So I would take it away and then when I took it out again it was like he had a new toy alll over again. He is starting to really grab things now and he likes that I can take the toy bar off and he can hold the toys in his lap by using the other velcro attachments. We just started to introduce rice cereal last week and we are not comfortable with the high chair yet. This works perfect. I feel confident that because this toy goes up to 45 lbs. We will continue to find new uses for it. Great LONG term toy for any new mom. Hardly takes up any room. It is sturdy and light weight. The only thing is I wish it fit more compactly in the car. I have taken this with me many places and it takes up half the backseat but worth it.Customer Review: Kudos to Fisher Price for originality.

I received this off my baby registry for my first baby who is now 6 months old. I registered for it at the recommendation of a friend with a toddler. My baby preferred to sleep in this chair over his bassinet when we brought him home. We strapped him in, reclined the back and put the kickstand out. He happily slept in it throughout the nights. The chair is light weight and I use it in my bathroom while I shower so that my son is occupied and within my sight or in our study where I can sit on the PC and he is, again, in my sight and occupied. We also use this chair as a feeding chair in alternative to his high chair from time to time. He has learned how to pull himself forward to sit up and away from the back of the chair. I have worried about the possibility recently of the chair tipping forward but that has not happened to us so far. I think this chair is wonderful in that, unlike a bouncer chair, you can continue to use it long after the baby can sit up. My baby is too old for a bouncer chair but we can continue to use our rocker chair well into his first few years. My only complaint about the toy bar is that the cow is positioned so that it faces away from my son. I think he would prefer it if the cow's cheery face were looking back at him during playtime. Otherwise, I love my chair and would recommend it again to anyone.Customer Review: I LOVE this chair!

This was one of the best purchases we've made for the baby. I didn't want a bunch of different baby products all over the house (swing, chair, pack and play, etc.) and so far this seems to be a great substitute. My daughter is just six weeks old, so I guess it may not always be as useful as it is right now, but for the price you cannot go wrong, even if at some point it doesn't quite fit your baby. My baby has loved it from the start, and I felt that she was secure in it. The kickstand feature is unique and I feel makes it more appropriate for a newborn than other chairs that sit upright. She loves the vibrations - they are quite strong (especially when the battery is new), but for her it seemed to satisfy that need for motion that tiny babies have.
I really came to appreciate this chair when she developed some mild congestion that makes it very hard for her to sleep perfectly flat. She has basically been sleeping in the chair every night for about a week now, and and the slight incline allows her to sleep for more than an hour without waking up gasping (her doctor okayed sleeping in the chair, by the way!). It is also great because I can put her in in when she is awake and she is able to fall asleep on her own, which she can't do yet in the crib. I wish this thing came in an adult size!

This rocker is something we added to our registry last minute, not really concerned whether we received it or not. Let me tell you....I am SOOOOO glad we did! From the beginning this chair has been wonderful! My son loved it from the day he came home from the hospital. He had a little bit a jaudice,plus he was colicky- so it worked well to sit him by the door while the chair vibrated and kept him happy. Nothing else we had would continually vibrate without us having to restart it. The battery life was like no other- for 7 months we had the same battery in it, and that is with it being used constantly in the beginning, plus sometimes after taking the baby out we would forgot to turn if off at all until hours later. I was amazed!! Being able to use the kick stand underneith was also a very nice feature for when he was napping. Now my son is almost 8 months old and he still loves to sit in it...but not for long as he is very busy these days! I agree with the others reviews about the sitting up. Once my son could sit up it was not as safe, but you just have to make sure you are around in case they decide they are done. Overall, this is a great buy. The age range is wonderful, he can continue to use it long after he is walking. The toy bar that is removable is great too! I have been very impressed!!!
