This is a sturdy baby seat. Our granddauther likes to play with the hanging toys, although they fasten with velcro and can be pulled off more easily than others we've had. This wouldn't be a problem except that the baby has a good throwing arm and we can't find one of them that was tossed someplace among the other toys. The back is fairly easily adjustable. She is nine months old now and gets impatient sitting in it so we don't use it as much, but while we did it was very nice.Customer Review: Ok for infant...not so much for toddler

I have a 15-month old. It was great when she was a newborn. But she too tried to wiggle out of it and the chair came with her unless the kick stand was out. We just took the chair out of storage and put it to the test. As she approaches it to sit in, it moves backwards. It appears that there are not any grips in the specific spots to avoid it moving away from her as she backs into it to sit. I looked through the manual to see if I need to do anything different and there are not any instructions to convert it. If she were taller this may not be an issue. We purchased this for our sitter's house... We have a boppy vibrating chair for home that he's growing out of, so we wanted something entertaining that he'd be able to use for awhile. This is working out wonderfully... he LOVES the little hanging characters and 'talks' to them (they're much more interesting than the boppy offers). There isnt very much cushioning in the seated area, but he's 3 months old so that's really not as much of a concern as it would have been earlier (so I wouldnt recommend this for a smaller infant). The shipping was really quick, the price was great (and this was not available online at babiesrus). I'm very pleased w/this purchase and would definitely recommend it to others as our little guy is very content in it and entertained by it. Customer Review: Excellent Rocking Chair

I love this rocking chair. I bought it for my bundle of joy when she was 6 months because I was tired of seeing her in the uncomfortable car seat when we were at home. She is now four years old and still uses it, although it recommended for 3 year olds. She slept in it, played in it, and it travels very well when you are on the go and going from house to house (smile).
Definately a GREAT BUY!!!!!

I received this as a baby shower gift for my first child in 2005. I absolutely loved it, and it was a staple in her day to day care. As a baby, she loved to sit in the chair. It was comfortable for her, and sometimes she was upset to be removed from the chair. As she was able to eat from a jar, not just bottles, I used it as her feeding chair. It was so easy for me to sit on the floor and feed her, rather than place her in a highchair. When she was able to hold her own bottle, this chair proved to be wonderful again. The recline was perfect for her...not too far back, and a little height for her to be in a slightly propped up position. I have kept this chair in anticipation for my next child, and we will bring it out in July for my new baby's arrival!!
