Baby Products Reviews of Fisher-Price Infant-To-Toddler Rocker, Blue/GreenCustomer Review: Saved my sanity! Summary: 5 Stars
My newborn baby boy wanted to be held all day every day or he would have a fit. After a month of going almost insane, my husband and I discovered this rocker. We actually wanted a swing but most were expensive so the price on this item made it attractive to try. And guess what, IT WORKED! I could put baby in reclined position and rock him softly with my foot and when he got worked up i could rock him a bit faster and he would usually fall asleep. Once he was asleep or if he was relaxed I could put the hold bar for a while. He wasn't really fond of the vibrating feature but that's ok. We used it all the way up to his 6 months. He became to active to want to sit. (He was crawling at 4 mo. I'm sure I haven't seen the last of it yet. Sanity for mom's of fussy babies. Definetly recommend it. :)
Customer Review: great for newborns Summary: 5 Stars
I asked a lot of questions about what to get before my baby arrived, and this was one of them. Which bouncer is the best. A friend told me to look for one that reclines a lot so my newborn could lay in it. She told me with typical bouncers they are at such an angle that they dont work for newborns/infants because they cant control their neck and head yet, but at a reclined angle they can still be safe and see what you are doing. The vibrations is good also. When I have it in the rocking position I just wish it would be more apt to rock on its own. But overall we love it. My sweet pea follows me from room to room if I need to get things done and she only protests when shes ready to be fed.
Customer Review: Not for overactive babies but fun. Summary: 5 Stars
If your child does not sit well without constant stimulation then this rocker is not for you. With only 3 toys to choose from and "vibration only motion" this works for calmer childen. The rocker portion is manual. My son is now almost 5 months and has been using this for almost 2 months. He's a larger baby so the high weight capacity caught my eye. The rocker is useful for a safe place to put him while I wash bottles, fold clothes etc. He isn't into jumping out yet and is content if extra toys are placed within his reach. The kick stand is great too as the extra tilt lets him play with his feet and adds extra stability. We love it so far. Serves the purpose.
Customer Review: Best Newborn/Infant Rocker Summary: 5 Stars
We spent hundreds of dollars on the best reviewed items out there, however our newborn hated them all. She would sit in the full-sized "My Lil Lamb" swing and bouncer and cry. Then we tried the Fisher Price swing and she still hated it. This rocker was our last hope and to our amazement she LOVED it!!! She would fall asleep in it which was something we never experienced with other units. The swing is very light and convenient. Although I wish it would fold down when traveling. The toys are attached with velcro so its easily removable or you can remove the whole play unit for easy access to baby. I highly recommend this rocker for easy long-term use.
Customer Review: Depends on the baby Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this item because our 2 month old baby always falls asleep in the car. However, she doesn't fall asleep in the infant rocker and she really doesn't like the idea of being strapped in. I guess it really depends on what kind of baby you have and their likes and dis-likes. Another issue I have is the fact that the toys are not interchangeable. I would love to be able to put some of her favorite toys up to make the experience more enjoyable for her, but it wouldn't work unless I have velcro. I'm sure once she gets older, she will love the idea of having her own rocking chair as most children do, but for the moment, it is not in use.
