Customer Review: A blessing at the same time a curse...

We've had this swing for 8 months, yes I waited this long to do a review HA!
Anyways, we've used the swing primarily for my little one's nap times so I can do things around the house. When she was under 4 months old, she would take a nap to 4 hrs in this and even to this day she takes her naps on this swing.
It's well made, we never had problem with it or whatsoever. The battery lasts us to 1 month if used everyday at 6hrs daily. The padded cushion is nice and easy to clean by just throwing it in the washer and dryer. The design is clean and cute, I can even take out the mobile lambs and wash them. The harness is secure enough as long as you have the bar on.
My only gripe is I don't like the extra leg on the bar that goes between the leg. It can be too restraining on the crouch area especially if you're cloth diapered. This is a true blessing to us at the same time a curse because we're trying to wean our baby from napping on her swing because she's getting too long for it. So mama's watch out! =)
Other than that it has been great investment that we have truly used each and everyday!

We bought this product since it was recommended by the lady that works at the baby department in one of our favorite stores. We are glad we did. When our little boy doesn't want to sleep we put him here and he is out. He loves the music and the movement of the swing eases him to sleep. The motor is quiet, no noise can be heard. Not sure what other reviews are talking about. The construction of the swing is sturdy and seems that it will last until your baby outgrows the product.
Cons. It is battery operated. We usually keep him here for hours swinging. Needless to say batteries die pretty quick. Get their new version it uses electrical current, but expect to pay more on Amazon. I've seen it as the same price as the older model in stores and you might catch it on sale at TRU/BRU. Another con is that the music shuts down in 7 minutes. He starts crying when he hears the music stop. So you have to get up constantly to reset the music. I hate it.
All in all, its a great product that will get the job done of soothing your baby to sleep. I definitely recommend it.

Short and sweet, this is a good purchase for all parents. Infants really like being rocked back and forth and this frees your hands to do other things like preparing milk, cleaning bottles, laundry, cooking, self hygiene that most moms struggle to find enough time and arms to do. I convinced my sister to buy this swing after she had her first baby. At first she said it takes up too much space but now she said she can't imagine what life is like without it. It does make a motor noise and I do wish the music played for longer but this is a small sacrifice in exchange for a happy and quiet baby. Batteries required are the big bulky ones, I think D cells. If you are like me and hate buying batteries, do yourself the favor of spending the money on a good rechargeable set, it saves time, money, and effort in the end. I don't really see any downfalls to buying this item, but it has only been a few months. Reading the other reviews, it seems that it does have an expiration date, either from baby getting too big too fast or motor dying. We have not come across this yet. My daughter absolutely loves this swing! My boo falls asleep after about just 3 minutes in this swing and whenever she is really fussy and I'm just too tired to rock her myself I put her in this and she calms down right away. I love it.
Pro's:
1. the material is extremely soft.
2. variable speeds.
3. variable music and nature sounds.
4. it swings 2 different ways.
5. it's adorable and the color scheme matches easily with our decor.
Con's:
1. the motor is a bit loud, it really doesn't bother me or my little one but you can definetely hear it. I just think of it as white noise that helps my baby fall asleep.
2. the slowest setting of speed is a little too fast for my 7 weeker. In the manual however they address this issue and state to place one side a blanket under your little one and let the other end drag on the floor. I did this with the addition of puttin a book on the floor end and it works great. I'm guessing in a couple of more weeks the 1st speed setting will be just right.

I can't believe that this swing has so many great reviews. clank-clank-clank. It is driving me crazy. tick-tick-tick My son loves it and is not bothered by the ticking, clanking, and clicking. Seriously, it doesn't even make the same noise all the time. Somedays it it a tick, tick, tick. Somedays its a click, click, click. AND, here is the real bummer- it doesn't even have to be on to make the noices! Honestly, I will have my son sleeping in it without it running so I don't have to get ticked by the ticking (ugghhh) and then he will start to wake up and I will give it alittle push and it starts clank, clank, clanking!!!!!! Calgon (Prozak), take me away!
I am a first time mom and fell in love with how cute it is and is the first thing I registered for. I have never had any other swings to compare it to so maybe they all click, clank and tickity, tick, tick. My husband says it is the clutch slipping that I am hearing and that all swings must do that. Oh, and its getting louder as my son gets heavier.
