We got this Fisher Price travel swing and the Graco swing. This swing was great for going to Grandparent's house, vacations or other places we visited. It was also great for using upstairs while our other one was in our family room. My son enjoyed swinging and watching the lights while Mommy showered. It kept him entertained long enough for me to shower and get dressed, and then he would fall asleep. It was sad when he learned to sit up and lean forward while in it because we could no longer utilize it. My son also liked this swing much better then his other one which was bigger and taller. I am not sure if it was the lights and music or that it was smaller and more compact. This is a great buy and one to be sure to register for.Customer Review: Great swing!

We had another take-along swing that was very similar to this one for my first daughter. She loved it, and so when that one finally died (it had been passed down to me from another family), we got this Aquarium take-along swing. And now my 2nd daughter is really enjoying it. She loves to look at the lights and I think it's great that she can reach the hanging toys and turn on the music herself (a feature that a lot of other swings don't have). The handle bar on top is a little higher than our first take-along swing, which is just perfect for being able to take her out without hitting her head (which did happen sometimes with the first swing). Plus, it doesn't take up much space and it's easy to move from room to room if needed.Customer Review: great travel swing

I got the older version & I purchased mine at a children's resale shop --highly recommend since when I bought mine it was $60 in the store & I paid $26 & it works and looks new. Anyways, it is great -I leave it in the car all the time so it is ready to come out at Grandma's or anywhere else. I have a Dodge Caravan with the stow and go and it actually fits in the storage bin under the floor of my van it is so compact. If you think the noise is too loud like other reviewers said you can simply turn the noise level down or off, I really don't understand their problem. However, I do admit that there is only one speed instead of 8. Everywhere I take it people are amazed by it & say they wish they had one when raising their kids.

I got this swing as a shower gift and I am extremely greatfull. My baby has slept for hours in the swing at home and at friends homes. It goes with us everywhere. He is now 8 months and still enjoys it. Of course at this age you must keep a close eye on him cause he does sit up. The music seems to soothe him and I love that I control the volume, so it doesn't bother me.
As for the customer who rated it a 1, I believe she just had a streem of bad luck. I have had absolutely no problem and as a matter of fact am very pleased with the battery life. I've used it for the last 8 months consistantly and have only changed the battery's 3 times.
My advice, you must have this. You and your baby will love it.
Customer Review: Great for 2 story houses or trip to grandma's

We had the larger aquarium swing with our first daughter and LOVED it. We often would carry it downstairs or upstairs to be around us. Now with our second daughter we decided to get a dowstairs alternative and this is perfect! It doesn't cradle swing left to right, but Sydnee doesn't care (her big sis Jaz would have). Also when 2yr old sis leans onto the swing to give Syd a kiss the swing arm sometimes moves off it's hook and we have to wiggle it back into place for it to work again. This swing is also extremely handy when doing long visits to grandma's or friends to allow everyone to admire baby instead of always holding them or putting them on the floor. If it only had a vibrate option it would be the ultimate product!
