Customer Review: Swing has pros and cons
Summary: 3 Stars

There were many advantages to this swing:
* Size was good for our small house
* Was easy to fold up, or even just carry to different areas of the house, or on trips
* My son loved the music and lights
* He was really thrilled once he got a little older and realized he could prompt the music by pulling th fish on the sides
* It was really helpful early on

However, there are also several improvements that could be made:
* Even from the beginning when my son didn't weigh as much, the swing was slow
* It ate through batteries really fast
* Once my son was able to sit up, the swing was not really stable enough for him, in fact it really just seemed unsafe at that point.

Overall, the swing is good, but won't last as long as a larger, sturdier one.

Customer Review: Great Portable Swing
Summary: 5 Stars

We received this swing as a gift for our baby shower. We thought of getting the Ocean Wonders Aquarium cradle swing, but decided that it would be more valuable and useful if we bought something that we could take with us when we went places. Plus this does not take up as much space as the cradle swing and with two dogs and a bunch of baby gear already around the house, this just seemed like the logical choice. It was a great decision. Our son absolutely loves this swing. Since day one, he has loved listening to the music and watching the lights. He starts to cry when his music has stopped. Now that he is 4 1/2 months old, he is grabbing for the fish on the side and has started to activate the music by pulling on it.
The swing is easy to put together and easy to take with. We absolutely love this swing.

Customer Review: Great Take Along Swing
Summary: 4 Stars

We purchased this after our son fell in love (or we fell in love) with his larger FP Aquarium swing. His swing became a must have but was not transportable. This was our solution. Although it has some drawbacks - it does the job. Since our son is on the large side, this swing only swings on the highest setting (8) and even then it does not have the full motion that his larger swing does. This being said he still enjoys the movement and it keeps him occupied when visiting. People laugh when we show up with the swing but quickly see its magic when he is napping. The lights/music are worth the extra money. We had the FP Open Top Take Along swing (bare bones model) that we returened for this one (to get the music/lights). Takes a lot of batteries and eats through them quickly.

Customer Review: great swing
Summary: 4 Stars

This swing is easy to put together, light weight so very portable and great for the purpose of soothing. I have a 9 week old who absolutely loves this swing. It is perfect for when he is fussy-it soothes him right to sleep. It folds easily and doesn't take up much space in the car for travelling either. The only problem I so far have found as some reviewers stated that it is rather low and you have to be careful removing the baby to ensure not hitting his head on the light bar. But I have not had the problems with the batteries as of yet-he sits in it for a couple of hours each day and I have replaced them only once. I think it depends on how heavy the baby is and make sure to use a light blanket over him-I found a heavier blanket slows the machine down.

Customer Review: Trouble with it from the first day!
Summary: 1 Stars

I was so excited to get this swing for my shower. I put it together with no problem, and thought it was so cute. My baby is not due for another month, but I wanted to check it out anyway! When I turned it on, I first noticed that although there is a dial that indicates "8 speeds" there is really only one speed. Also, it made a grinding noise like it was "struggling" to swing. Then, when I turned on the lights and music, I noticed that the orange light was very dim. I still thought it was cute, so I wasn't too worried. When my husband came home, I turned it on to show him, and the orange light was completely burned out. I also noticed in another review that they had trouble with the orange light. I plan to return it and get something else.
