Customer Review: Good Idea

I thought this was a great idea to have a portable swing. Since we visit family often, and he loved his regular swing at home, I thought that this would be a great addition to his baby gear. I thought it would be neat to be able to move this swing to wherever it might be needed in the house, and I first tried it out when my son was was about a few weeks old. I don't think that this swing is good for newborns as there doesn't seem to be enough support for them. Also, he did fall asleep in it (and even batted at the toys a couple times!), but his neck was so bent that I had a neckache just looking at him.
Now that he's 4 months old, I leave this in my office for when I take him to work with me. He doesn't seem to like it when he's sleepy. He likes to play with the toys but seems to get bored easily. He also won't sleep in it, which was one of the big reasons why I bought it. Also, when I fold it up, it is a bit confusing and doesn't seem to stand against the wall very well. It just keeps toppling over, so I leave it unfolded.
I gave this product 4 stars because although my son doesn't seem to like it too much, I think it's a great idea and seems to be built well. I think that my son is just picky, and hard to get to sleep anyway...LOL

My baby has loved this swing from the very beginning. The potability is great; she goes to every room as well as every friend's house with us! The seat is reclined enough that she could be in it without a head support even when she was so young that she could not support her own head yet. The swing is flexible and sturdy as her 4-year-old and 2-year-old brothers can come hug her on it. The only minor thing is that both times I bought this at the store, a fish and a seahorse on the sides of the seat would not float or swing as the produt claimed to. It was one of a few things that became a selling point when I was shopping for a swing, so I was disappointed to find out this trivial defect. I contacted the customer service and they said that the water (not a blue liquid)inside the mechanism was evapolated during the shipping. Everything they suggested to fix it was for a rather big fee and was going to take some time. (I was not willing to go without this swing for 3 weeks!) I was a little disappointed because I've always had good experiences with other companies like Kolcraft and Little Tykes. So, if you are like me, who wants everything that comes with what you pay for, check the product before taking it to a check-out counter at the store.Customer Review: Convenient, Cute, Sturdy, Nice Music & Lights

I love the Ocean Wonders line and own the music box, the bouncer and others and love them. Naturally, I thought this portable swing would be a great idea with limited space and being on-the-go all the time. I purchased it and set it up with the greatest of ease. So far, I have little to complain about. The adjustable volume is great, the music is fun and soothing, the lights capture baby's attention and are colorful but not too bright (which is nice). The sounds of the swing moving seems to relax him (maybe he equates it with womb sounds) so even when the swing is not light up or playing music, he still enjoys it. I also like that the music and lights shut off after a little while in case he falls asleep in the swing. It has a lot of neat little features and overall is an excellent buy. My only complaint is that it is not as portable as they claim it is - lifting it, particularly with baby in it (like they show on the box) is awkward at best. It is unstable while being carried. And yea, this is a very minor engineering error in the design. Overall, I love it, and would definitely purchase it again knowing everything I know now. I definitely recommend it, it is well-made and makes baby happy :)Customer Review: Lights, Music and Motion that Mesmerizes My Babies

Before the birth of my twins, this swing was recommended to me by a friend who is a neonatal intensive care unit nurse and a home care "baby nurse." In all honesty, I was really hesitant to buy it because it is so ugly and so BLUE. The first time I put one of my daughters into the swing it was way too stimulating. A month or two later she became mesmerized by it. It was very exciting when she started to understand cause and effect enough to know that when she pulled the links it made the music play and the lightshow begin. Now she can't get enough of it. She finds both the swing and the lightshow to be very soothing. Both my daughters have severe reflux and have to sit up for 30 minutes after they eat. This chair has become one of my favorites (we have gone through a total of six). My two biggest complaints are: 1) it should come in other colors besides blue and 2) the volume on the music should be capable of turning off completely.

Customer Review: Great little swing, but one light doesn't work

I got this at my baby shower and I love it! It's a great little swing and my son took many, many naps in it! I loved it so much because we live in a small house and don't have much room so it was perfect. It was nice and small and easy to fold up and stick in the closest to get out of the way. Also easy to fold up and take to grandma's house!
It's perfect for newborns also!!! Some of the larger stand up swings are to upright and little babies just slump over in them, but this one is designed for smaller babies. Although after my son started rolling over real well we had to stop putting him in it, he would grab the bar/leg and try to roll/pull himself out of it. But it worked wonders for the first couple months.
Also the first one I got had a light out, so I took it back and exchanged it. Well the new one worked for not even a week and then the very same light went out in it, the green light! I've also read other reviews with people comenting on how one light didn't work. You have to wonder if it's some wiring problem that needs to be fixed.
