Baby Products Reviews of Evenflo X Sport Plus Convenience Stroller - GreyCustomer Review: Compares Nicely with the Chicco for My Money Summary: 5 Stars
A mom at Babies R Us tipped me off to this model when I had finally resigned myself to buying a Chicco. I couldn't find anything to compare with the Chicco's width, height, storage, etc. My Evenflo arrived today and is just as great as the other reviewers shared. The only drawbacks compared to the Chicco are 1) no 5-point harness with padded straps 2) no carrying sack 3) does not recline (although Chicco hardly did). Those items weren't worth the 50% price increase for me. Especially given the extendable handles and extra storage that the Evenflo offers. The hanging storage sack offers convenient pockets although the fabric sleeve cupholders would only work for closed containers. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase!
Customer Review: Great stroller! Summary: 5 Stars
I really am enjoying this stroller. My son is 10 months old. He's our 3rd. We've had an Evenflo stroller/car seat combo that worked but was bulky. We've also had a simple $20 umbrella stroller that fell apart after 2 years of using it with our daughter. This stroller is compact yet seems hardier than your typical umbrella stroller. A lot of the other strollers I looked at were a bit spendy. Considering this is our last, I wanted a stroller that was compact yet a little more durable than the typical umbrella strollers. I love the adjustable handles (my husband is 6'4" and I'm 5' 3").
I read the reviews for this on Amazon as well as some other sites and saw nothing but great reviews. I would have to agree!!!!
Customer Review: Great stroller! Summary: 5 Stars
This stroller was extremely easy to put together. Pulled it out of the box, popped the wheels on and it was ready to go. I took my 9 month-old daughter for her first walk in it today and she seemed very comfortable. There really is a lot of storage in this stroller what with the basket and all the little zip pockets. I only had one teeny tiny problem with it. For some odd reason, one of the handles didn't want to stay locked in the extended position for me. Showed it to my husband and he got it to work. Just had to pull it up a little harder to get it to stay. So glad I got the Plus stroller, though. I was kicking the darn wheels for half the walk before my husband figured it out. Overall, fantastic stroller!
Customer Review: Great Buy! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best stroller! I looked at a lot before I bought this stroller for my third child, and the price and features could not be beat! It is easy to push, fold, store in the car. The extra handle length is awesome. I never use the basket, I just put everything on the handles, but the bag and cup holders come in handy for toys and bottles, and the canopy is nice when you are running through the parking lot in the rain, you can adjust it to protect your baby. The only thing it's missing is a reclining seat, but really when a kid is tired they will sleep anywhere! I started using this when my son, was four months and he still slept fine in it. Really you can not beat this stroller for $40. Best buy ever!
Customer Review: perfect for us Summary: 5 Stars
our seven month old son outgrew his carrier seat, so we had to purchase a new seat and umbrella stroller (to replace the snap and go). we read all the reviews and decided to go with this one. it is perfect for us! it is fairly long folded up (at least for my honda civic), but it takes up minimal space in my trunk (it is long and skinny folded up). he enjoys riding in it, and the cup holders an zipper pocket for my items are extremely convenient. setting it up and folding it down are a breeze. the best thing is that after i purchased it (with free shipping, mind you), amazon sent me a $[...] rebate! so, for $[...], we purchased an excellent umbrella stroller with all the amenities we wanted. thank you!!
