After using 5 different monitors for 2 children, we finally found one that works!! We have 2 of these right now and there is no feedback, static or ticking of any kind. I use this to monitor my wife while she is in bed or in the bedroom (alzheimer patient). I can hear her when I am downstairs or in the basement very well. If I need to be gone, I can take the monitor receiver to the other side of our duplex so our son can hear her. It has a good enough range for this.Customer Review: Great Value, Great Monitor!

I purchased this monitor for my 3 month old daughter's room (we have since used it all over the house!). I wanted a two way monitor, and am very pleased with this one. I can even hear the wall clock in my baby's room ticking on the monitor, it seems to be very sensitive. I was leary about getting an analog monitor with only two channels (interference). However, I have never experienced a problem with interference, and we live in a large complex with multiple families side by side. There is some interference with our cordless phone (a buzzing sound) but I knew that could happen before I purchased the monitor, and we don't use our home phone much. If I need to use the phone I just unplug the monitor for the moment. I also LOVE that the handheld is rechargeable! The unit will make an annoying sound when it needs to be recharged or is out of range, but I am able to walk outside with it as well. I couldn't imagine a monitor with better bang for your buck! I received this monitor as a gift with my second child. I also have the comparably priced Sony Baby Call. The Evenflo gets much more interference and the battery doesn't last nearly as long. The Sony is at least a little water resistant. On the Evenflo, the AC adapter spot is open so water (or steam in your bathroom) could easily affect the unit. The Sony is just better and a good long-term investment and doesn't cost any more.Customer Review: Very nice monitor set

I bought this as a replacement for another monitor that wore out. This one is very nice because it is two way and much clearer than the old one

- very easy to hear, no static
- very easy to use, just plug in and use
- nice visual and audio monitor
- Has a beep that tells you when the two way monitor starts so you don't start talking before
- can use monitors with our without electrical cords as long as the battery is charged
Cons
- sometimes picks up interference from other monitors and phones
