Customer Review: Very impressed
Summary: 5 Stars

I spent a LOT of time researching car seats for my 6-month old daughter as she outgrew her infant seat. My husband and I finally settled on this particular seat based on the reviews, features, and price. I am incredibly impressed! First, adjusting the shoulder straps is a snap. There is a small crank to tighten the belts and the straps can be adjusted for height without removing the seat. Secondly, the small headrest provides good support for Baby's head without restricting movement. Third, the seats are comfortable...not too cushy, not too hard. Fourth, the seat's reclining angle is easily adjusted, so my rear-facing baby can lay further back. The only problem I can see would be for people in a smaller vehicle. This is a taller car seat and is a little bulky, especially compared to an infant seat. I put it behind the driver's seat because I couldn't see out of the rear passenger side window with the seat there. Save yourself money on the more expensive models...this has everything you need for a fraction of the cost!

Customer Review: LOVE this car seat!
Summary: 5 Stars

We started looking into a new car seat when our 5 month old began feeling confined in his baby seat...and was getting WAY too heavy for me to carry around. I originally wanted to get him a Britax because I have heard great things about them, but as many have mentioned, they are very expensive! I was worried that our son was still too small to switch to the bigger seat, but read some reviews for the Evenflo Triumph and decided to give it a try! Our son loves to look out the window now and falls asleep easily whenever we take him out. He used to cry in the car, but now he looks around and is very content in this seat. I was also able to connect our baby mirror to the top of the headrest so that I can still see him! There didn't seem to be enough incline for him at first, so we rolled a towel underneath and now it is perfect! We are very glad that we switched to this car seat, and it is one that our son can use for years to come...up until 50 pounds! This is a great buy for anyone, and an extremely comfortable seat for any little one!!!

Customer Review: Overall positive, few drawbacks
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this for my 9 month old daughter who had outgrown her Chicco Infant Seat (which I loved). She was still rear facing and I found it very difficult to fit this into the rear bucket seats of my SUV. I could never get the seat as securely tightened as I would have liked due to the seat contours. The knob to tighten the harness was difficult to turn as it was so close to the contoured seat back of the car. When I was finally able to turn her around it was MUCH better! It fit well into the bucket seat with minimal effort to securely install it. The knob to tighten the harness was freely accessable as was the lever to release it. She finds the seat comfortable and enjoys the new view. If I were to do this all over again I would seriously consider a different car seat if I were to have her rear facing for very long. It was so fustrating to tighten and release the harness let alone try to move the seat between cars. (It fit well rear facing in my husbands volvo by the way, but had the same issue with reaching the knobs).

Customer Review: Annoying
Summary: 2 Stars

I usually do not write reviews but this car seat annoys me so much, I felt compelled. First off, I don't understand why it has to be so wide at the top. When my baby falls asleep in it, she can never rest her head on the side so her head hangs awkwardly forward or drastically over her shoulder. I should take a picture and when she is older and has back problems, we can pull the pictures out and show her why. I can never get the straps to tighten down enough and then when it comes to releasing them to get her out, I feel like I am going to break my fingers off trying to push the red tab down enough to get it to release. We have use the latch system and a seat belt to get it tight enough so it doesn't wiggle all over the place.

We also have a Britax Roundabout and at first I wasn't sure if it was worth it to spend that much more on a car seat but I am probably going to put the Evenflo aside and buy another Britax Roundabout. I think the price difference is about 50 bucks or so but worth the frustration

Customer Review: Good Value
Summary: 4 Stars

When my son outgrew his infant carrier, I researched car seats online until I practically qualified for a degree in car seat safety. Britax is the only brand with no negative reviews, but with their starting price around $220, it was completely out of my budget. After much deliberation and many trips to stores to 'try on' different styles, I purchased this one in brown. I love that the straps can be easily adjusted while your child is in the seat, although it does take a few tries to get the hang of it. It was fairly easy to install, but it is enormous! I drive a Ford Escape and we first put it in the middle, rear-facing (the safest position), but there was barely enough room for anyone to sit on the sides. We ended up with it behind the passenger seat, forward facing, much easier for me to interact with my son while driving.
I found it at Target on clearance for about $99 and I would recommend this model for anyone who wants a great safety rating and can't afford a Britax.
