We've owned this gate for over 2 years. We originally bought it because I had a daycare in our home and we had a toddler boy of our own. We were trying to prepare our house to sell and needed the rest of the house to stay neat at all times. This gate was perfect! It did not require any hardware to install, it didn't mark up the walls, which we had freshly painted, and it came down quickly when we had a call for a showing.
We've since moved and have had another baby. The gate is holding up beautifully and since it's adjustable we can use it in our new house. I even plan to buy another one to use in another large opening in our home.

I have looked everywhere for an attractive gate that would fit the large entrances to the rooms of my home and I was never able to find one until I saw this great creation. It is light and durable and the size of the gate can be adjusted very easily. I have two puppies that I need to keep confined to certain areas of my home and I did not want to damage my walls with the permanent gates and I do not care for the wood frame gates with the plastic mesh, they are weak and they are never big enough. I love this gate so much that I bought three of them. A great gate, easy to put together, high quality and such a cheap price. Thankgoodness!!!Customer Review: Works as advertised

We bought this gate to keep our baby from crawling up the stairs at a vacation house. It was easy to use after adjusting it to the right width. It takes a long time to adjust the width, so it's not easily movable between locations on a day to day basis but it worked great for our purposes. A little tricky for the older children to step over but no problem for adults.
I think we'll enjoy having this put away to use when we have small guests in the future.
If Evenflo made a similar product for smaller openings, I would buy that as well. Perhaps they do, but I was not able to find such a thing on Amazon.

I am very happy with this product. I needed gates for two openings that were 48" wide. 48" is too wide for any other pressure mounted gate that I could find. Since I only need the gates for occasional visits from an out of town grandbaby, I didn't want permanently mounted gates.
We used them for 10 days over the holidays and they worked great. They were very sturdy and easy to mount. And since the top and bottom rail work independently of eachother, it is not an issue that the bottom rail had to be a little narrower due to the baseboards.
I would highly recommend these gates and they were very inexpensive too!

I have a [...] daughter with special needs and she is into EVERYTHING!!!! I needed a gate to keep her out of one of our rooms (the doorway was larger than a normal door and so a regular gate would not work). I had tried blocking the room with furniture, however she would figure out how to get into that room! I found this on line and WOW! She can not get into this room at all!!!! She has tried! She tried to pull it down or climb over it and she is not able to get in. Also, this is very easy to step over for me (I am 5 feet 2 inches). I am very happy about this product and have nothing bad to say about it!
