Baby Products Reviews of Evenflo Soft And Wide Gate Taupe & ChocolateCustomer Review: My 25 month old jumps this Summary: 3 StarsIt worked pretty well for a long time and it was easy to install. We installed 2 by the stairs. I tripped over it and it fell, but i guess thats to be expected. I liked it lots until my 25-month old figured out how to climb it, by holding on to the stair-rails. Hes a little acrobat though. This might apply to all gates though, but had to dock it a couple for that. My kid does routinely climb in and out of his crib too, so hes hard to hold down in one place.
Customer Review: Love it! Summary: 4 StarsWe use this gate to keep our puppy in the tiled kitchen at night. It does not need screws or other hardware which would damage my cabinets. Affordable, very light, and easy to put up and take down. We have a solid barrier that our puppy can see out and we can see in. He's happy and so are we.
Customer Review: Great product Summary: 5 StarsThis gate is fantastic! It's easy to put together and install. We have to take it down quite often to show our house for sale, and it's easy to take down and put back up. While it's in place, it is also easy for adults to step over (and I'm only 5'3"), but it keeps my daughter out of the office. I will order more of these gates for various rooms of the house.
Customer Review: Fast set up and easy use Summary: 4 StarsThe gate was easily set up and put in place. It keeps the baby and the dog out of the kitchen. The netting could have been more resilient, we already have aquired a hole from haveing to climb over it. It would have been much better if it could have been opened and shut conveniently.
All in all, it does the job and we are happy with it.
Customer Review: Excellent wide gate Summary: 5 StarsThis has been a great gate for us. Although we don't have to go thru it all the time, it has been very helpful. Its short enough that we can step over it with a hand full of groceries. Yet our little one can't climb over it. Now that he is 17 months old (very active), he has been testing it out. But it has been holding up well. The greatest advantage is that it doesn't need a lot of work to put it up. Very simple and no tools!! and it covers a wide area (which we needed). I wouldn't recommend it necessarily for your main route of travel, but it helps to block off areas. I think it also helped that we put it up long before our little one (at 5 months)knew that he could walk through the area that it blocks. I encourage everyone to Babyproof way before you need to!!
