Baby Products Reviews of Evenflo Exersaucer Mega CircusCustomer Review: Couldn't have taken a shower without it!! Summary: 5 Stars
When I first brought this home and my husband and I assembled it, he looked at me like I was crazy--when was I going to use it he thought? Every day! Every DAY! My daughter is now 14 months and has sat in her ExerSaucer for about a half hour nearly everyday since she was about 5 months watching her Baby Einstein while I hopped in the shower, ran on the treadmill, made dinner, etc. I have been very careful about putting her in there any longer than one hour a day, I imagine she would eventually get bored being trapped, but this item has proved it's worth and it paid for itself after repeated usage. It can be collapsed and shoved into a closet when not in use; the assembly was challenging, but not overwhelming. I highly recommend this item to any and all mom's who need that half hour to an hour of time to get a few things done without someone underfoot!!!
Customer Review: My baby loves it... I wish it collapsed down further though. Summary: 4 Stars
So I put my son in this when he was 3 months old and he absolutely loved it. Every time we put in him there he grins and plays with the toys and contraptions hanging off of it.
The construction of the bottom feet could be a little better made, but they are definitely strong and they appear to be safe.
3 Months is a little young to be putting a kid in this, so please keep in mind that each child *IS* different. My son has been standing with help for quite a few weeks now, he has been lifting his head up and holding it up for extended periods of time by himself. (He still requires support to sit up, but he's been holding his head up for quite a while)
I wouldn't put a kid in this if they couldn't push up and stand with his legs (with support/balance) or especially if they couldn't support their head.
Customer Review: Overall good, but... Summary: 3 Stars
We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 6 month old - she loves it!The variety of toys keeps her entertained, and after about two days, she figured out how to "bounce" in it. What got her so excited while it it, was the musical "carousel" toy, which now does not work. Sadly, it's shorted out, and although we initially thought it was a battery (removed screws, replaced both batteries), we found that it's a short of some sort. Not sure where to buy another, as the Evenflo website doesn't sell them. If anyone knows where to purchase these let me know - we can't be the first customers this happened to. I rate this a three. I would have liked to seen more than 3 options for the height adjustment, and I would like the musical toy to have worked for longer than two weeks. She's just not as entertained now!
Customer Review: Not nearly as nice as the Baby Einstein exersaucer Summary: 3 Stars
I have the Baby Einstein exersaucer, which my babies love. Since I have twins and they both want to play in it, I thought I'd buy another one. I saw this exersaucer had good reviews and was less expensive.
Well, after spending a hour assembling it, I realized the toys aren't very interesting. There is one toys with beads that spins and one that plays music. The rest of the toys are stationary and all the baby can do is chew on them. The Baby Einstain has lots of interactive toys that keep the babies engaged. My boys get bored with this one quickly.
It's not bad enought that I'll return it, especially after all the work it took to assemble it, but I wouldn't recommend it. Perhaps I would like it better if I didn't know how much nicer the Baby Einstein one is.
Customer Review: Good activity center for the money Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this for my daughter when she was about 4 months old, but she was too small for it and not coordinated enough to get any enjoyment out of it. She is now 6 months old and is really starting to like this. She likes the music and she can spin the seat around to get to the toys she wants to grab. She can spend at least 20-30 minutes in here now and it's fun to watch her play in it. I didn't want to spend $80 or $90 on an activity center and a friend had this and said her son liked it, so I bought it and I'm happy with the purchase. I can see my daughter liking this for several months to come, and it's unisex, so we'll save it for our next baby. One thing I wish is that there were other toys you could buy to snap in and have some more variety. That's why I only gave it 3 stars.
