Baby Products Reviews of Evenflo Exersaucer Mega CircusCustomer Review: Not great Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this for my 4 month old. First thing, I'm pretty sure that at the store this had said "minimal assembly required", yeah right it took me forever! At least 30-45 minutes!! She had a lot of interest in the lion teether thing. She wanted so badly to chew on it but couldn't get it to maneuver on its side to get it into her mouth. Needless to say, she was VERY frustrated!! She liked the circus tent with the music, she was able to spin it very easily as well as the monkey spin barrel. She had no interest in any other toys on the thing, Except the extra "switcharoo" crinkle bumble bee we put on it in one of the other toys' place. Also the seat didn't seam to spin very easily either. She would only sit in this thing for about two minutes before crying to get out! Thats when I decided to just exchange it for something else. So, I went to collapse it to put it back in the box. In order to do this, apparently you need to press EXTREMELY hard on these tabs on the bottom of the legs. I finally got it and thats when my thumb nail was ripped half way off (below the skin, way below) wow did that hurt! I'm definetly not getting another exersaucer like this!
Customer Review: Our daughter loves this thing ... Summary: 4 Stars
We received this as a shower gift, and per the instructions on the box, set it up for our daughter when she was almost four months old. She immediately loved it, although she couldn't do much with the toys at first. She's growing with it, though, and now at 7 months old she thinks that this thing is fantastic.
It did take over an hour and a rather studious review of the instructions to set it up. The seat is easy to remove and goes into the washing machine with no problems and still looks great after many washes. The toys pop right out, too, which makes clean up fairly easy on the play tray as well.
We travel with this thing constantly; it's easy to fold up and down but it still takes up quite a bit of room in the trunk when it's folded. The handle does make it easy to carry, and it's very lightweight.
The circus tent takes 3 small LR 44 batteries, which ran out on us after about 2 1/2 months of use, and they are extraordinarily difficult to change. Other than that, we love it - wish you could buy an extra set of interchangeable toys to keep it more interesting.
Customer Review: LOVE it! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this exersaucer for my twins when they were about 5 months old, they are now 8 months and still LOVE it! The toys around the tray all do different actvities ((i.e spin, squeak, rattle, play music etc)) and all hold the attention of my boys. The seat swivels very easily and also bounces! My boys also have a jumperoo ((which is much more fun to bounce in)) but they can also bounce in the exersaucer which they love! The seat has larger leg holes for the "chubby" babies, and is also an easy to wipe fabric. The legs have ((I believe)) 3 height adjustments, and they are easy to change. The saucer folds down pretty compactly, and I can fit it in a corner next to our entertainment center if we want more room in our family room. Also, now that its nicer out I have taken the exersaucer outside on the porch, and it is very easy to lift and carry if you inside-out the seat and hold it from the leg holes. The toys are also removable ((most of them)) and washable, which is a VERY important feature on a childrens toy.
All in all my boys and I are EXTREMELY pleased with the exersaucer!
Customer Review: Great toy for the price Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this Mega Exersaucer from Amazon when my daughter was 7 months old. It took me an hour to put the entire thing together. The hardest part was fitting one of the toys that had a center rod, I had to force it very hard to put it in place. It should not be that hard, may be there was something wrong with the one I got.
For almost couple of weeks, my daughter did not like sitting in it, she would cry after 2 or 3 minutes, I thought this was a waste of money. But then she started liking it, these days she loves it, she will sit and play with the toys for at least 30 minutes. She likes to rock, bounce and spin in it. And because of that she threw up couple of times. So we don't put her in it for almost an hour after having food.
It is light in weight, easy to fold and carry. The food tray is a complete waste in my opinion, couple more toys in its place would had been ideal.
Overall a good product and worth the price. Don't regret the buy if your child does not play in it at first, I am sure every child will start to like it after few days.
Customer Review: good purchase Summary: 5 Stars
My son was behind in crawling and walking, so we got the circus exersaucer when he was about 7 months or so. He really enjoyed it! The music wasn't too annoying and the bold colors are great for either gender. The only issue we had with my son was that he'd chew on everything - which is another great thing about this toy, the surfaces are like teethers - but he'd pull the toys to his face and when he let go, they'd spring back and smack him in the face. One time he even had a tiny red mark on his temple that turned into a tiny bruise. That didn't bother us, we just payed attention to what happened if he cried. But he hated the horse for a day or two! ha haaa It was nice that this collapsed so we did take it to my in-laws a few times and right now it's stored out of the way. But it is a little hard to collapse and made my husband sweat a few times. And made me mad once or twice. But I'd still buy it knowing that! I also like that the toys were removeable so they could be washed and rotated so my son didn't get bored. I would recommend this and buy it again if I had to.
