Baby Products Reviews of Evenflo Exersaucer Mega CircusCustomer Review: Ouch!! Pinched fingers! Summary: 2 Stars
This product is not that great as far as exersaucers go- we replaced a few of the toys for more exciting ones. At least evenflo makes replacements. The main complaint I have is that the flip book that comes with this seems to always get little fingers caught in it. My 6 month old daughter loves to turn the pages (and chew on them) but she would always get the side of her fingers caught. This lead to numerous tears and we finally took that toy off. The other thing is that she sometimes just sits in the exersaucer, not playing. I don't think it stimulates her enough. If I had to do it again, I would buy a better model. This one just isn't that great.
Customer Review: My son loves this!!! Summary: 4 Stars
My son plays in this daily and loves it! We have it in our bathroom and it is the only way I am able to shower, dry my hair, and put on makeup daily. It keeps him happy the whole time I get ready. Despite other reviews it is very easy to fold up and travel with. You just have to know how to do it. I struggled a little, but my husband collapsed it in about 10 seconds. The only frustrating thing is that the batteries in the musical toy are not replaceable. So when it dies, that is it. I found a web site to order a new musical toy and some new toys to keep him interested and it was worth it. Get this for your child for hours and hours of fun!
Customer Review: Safe and entertaining Summary: 5 Stars
My 5 month old son has used this since he was 4 months old and he loves it, it engages him and keeps him safe for around 25 minutes, enough time for me to wash dishes, prepare dinner, take a shower, and best of all it is so light and easy to move. I move it to whatever room I am in and he is safe and happy. He laughs and touches everything and gets very excited when he makes things move and make noise. This is a great toy, it is a wonderful sensory experience for baby, and helps teach cause and effect. After using this once he was turning himself and reaching and grabbing everything. Baby and I love this, this is a must have!
Customer Review: endless amusement for baby Summary: 4 Stars
My daughter is 7 months old. I bought this for her about 2 months ago after trying a friend's saucer. She loves it! It keeps her occupied for up to 40 minutes sometimes. I think it's been great for increasing the strength of her legs, and the saucer has so many different features, that it really very effectively stimulates a baby's development. My only criticism is that it is not easy to collapse, and it only fits through the doorways in my house if I turn it exactly the right direction. Also: I paid $20 less for it, including shipping, from Amazon than it would have cost at a certain mart-type superstore in my area.
Customer Review: Not a bad choice Summary: 5 Stars
Good product, easy to put together. The toys do jiggle, but if it didn't, babies wouldn't be interested. It's not true that it flings back and forth so much that it will cause bruises. The one music and lights is the carousel and it plays several tunes. To get it started you have to knock it on your hand a bit, so give it some time. After that baby can usually start it on her own by accidently whacking it. Don't expect baby to spend too much time on it at first. Like every toy, they don't know how to play with it at first and need your guidance. You can increase the time she spends on it little by little.
