We had the version of this that was 8 years old and had given it away not anticipating any more children. Our "bonus baby" arrived 6 months ago! A friend gave us an extra saucer that she had. Our little guy hated it! He cried the minute I put him in it. I so missed our old one. I discovered this newer version and promptly ordered it. The moment I put him in it, his eyes lit up, he looked at me and smiled and started exploring all the toys! He could easily reach them, they are simple and require no batteries. EASY to put together! This should be on everyone's registry!Customer Review: a so so purchase

I bought this stuff about a month ago. It has'nt been used frequently. My son is not very interested in it but if you put him in he'll stay there for about 20 min. So I guess it's still useful if you really need a short break from your baby. Now he's 6 months old and about 27.5 inch. I feel the design of the seat is not very good. When I put my baby in, he tends to lean forward a lot. I guess it is partly because my baby can not sit very well. Maybe when he grows a bit older and can sit and stand well, he will fully enjoy the Exersaucer.Customer Review: great etertainment for baby

My only complaint was that a single toy (it spins on a metal spindle) was VERY difficult to get in, but I am glad to know that no one will be getting it back out.
No music or batteries, which is what we wanted. Directions are clear, if concise, and my 5 month old likes the toys as well as the opportunity to rotate himself at will.
We bought this because the older children all enjoyed a similiar model. This one has the added advantage of some of the toys being interchangeable with other Evenflo add-on toys.

I have the expensive version of this evenflow excersaucer and my son loves it. I wanted to but the less expensive version for his babysitter's house. The price for this one is great. The problem is the toys are a little cheapy looking and in less than one day my son practically broke it as one of the parts unhinged. We have to keep putting it back together since my sons lovejumping and spinning in it. It definitely is not as sturdy as the expensive evenflow one. I say go for the more expensive ones. I had Evenflo's older model similar to this, but with a different theme and it was great. I used the same one for both of my kids and they both enjoyed it. The inside is nice for them to bounce around and stay active, and it grows with them, so that later on when they are walking they can hold onto the edge and walk around the outside of it. It is very handy when I needed to prepare a meal. I could put the saucer a safe distance from the cooking and still interact. The only negative is that it makes a lot of noise when it bounces.
