Baby Products Reviews of Evenflo ExerSaucer Delux - Wild ThingCustomer Review: Assembly instructions not good; Product pretty good Summary: 4 Stars
My 4-month old is very much in the "bouncing phase" so I had to get her something that would take the weight off my arms! This seemed like the perfect solution. When I got it the assembly instructions were horrible - especially the leg assembly. It was MUCH easier to put the caps on first and then attach the spring and legs than to do it the way it was suggested in the manual. But once it was together, my daughter loved it. I use it instead of her swing now. The only con is that at 4 months (suggested age) she still slips forward a little sometimes and may hit her mouth on the toys and get upset. I think they should may the toys a little more pliable and not use that very hard plastic. I ended up using plastic links and attaching soft teething rings to the toys so that she could reach it easier and they wouldn't be so hard on her gums.
Customer Review: liked toys better on other one Summary: 3 Stars
My 8 month old just had her cleft palate repaired out of state and as we were recovering in the hotel we bought the farm themed exersaucer for the hotel and she LOVED it! but we couldnt bring it home so when i got back home i got online and found this one at a great price! i had actually had the baby einstein saucer toy for my oldest daughter and didnt realize these they could JUMP in and turn around better. so...the price is great, its a great piece of baby equipment to have for ages 4 months-walking, and the option to buy different toys to swap out are great. but if i had it to do over again i would have bought the farm themed one again because sydney liked the toys so much better, it also had an extra feature of folding for travel.
Customer Review: Lifesaver! Summary: 4 Stars
My daughter's exersaucer was my life saver. Once she turned about 4 mos old she would not lay down for anything. I was able to prop her up in the exersaucer with a blanket and she had a great time. As she got bigger, I moved the height up, and she kept playing! Of course, her attention span meant it never lasted more than a little while, but it was at least enough to jump in the shower every now and then! However, I would reccommend looking at local resale shops or other places for used ones. They are very expensive new (even the cheap ones!) and I've found that my resale shop always has a ton of them for a good price. Plus, it's already assembled for you!

Customer Review: MAKE SURE THE LEGS ARE ON CORRECTLY! Summary: 4 Stars
When this arrived, I put it together (though I did find it difficult - the legs mainly) in about 25 minutes. I put my 4 month-old in it and she was just so happy! She loved it - and then it collapsed with her in it. She was fine because I was sitting there with her, but had I stepped away, I'm not sure she would have been ok. The instructions don't tell you that the legs that attach to the base have to be put in and then twisted, and that it is incredibly difficult to do!! My husband is an Engineer, and can put anything together and it took him over an hour and a half to get the legs in properly. It is super sturdy now that they're in, and my daughter loves it. She loves the toys and is bouncing and turning it.
Customer Review: exactly as I expected Summary: 4 Stars
Just what I wanted. My 5 month old son loves it. He is alternately fascinated by each of the different toys. There is also some small tray areas to just set his own toys for more variety. The one thing I'd liked to have know before I bought it was that there is a height limit of 30 inches. For most that's not an issue, however my son is very tall and at 5 months is already 27 inches tall. So he will probably outgrow it in height before he outgrows it developmentally (can walk). So keep this in mind if your child is in the 90th+ percentile for height. Otherwise, love it and have found it a great place for him to play while I'm making dinner or other kinds of things where he can't just play on the floor next to me.
