Customer Review: Lost my milk supply bc pump wasn't really working

I wish I could give this at least two stars for its price and convenience, but since I bought it twice and neither worked properly, I just can't. I had used the expensive Medela Pump-In-Style for my first baby, but I didn't want to lug it to work when I had the second baby. I really really wish I had kept using it. I bought this Evenflo instead, and it was a disaster. In fact, I bought it twice. The first one broke after a month. I figured it was fluke, and because it was so convenient I took a risk and bought a second one. It never quite felt like it pumped as strongly as the Medela. I tried not using the battery power and plugging it in, instead. That helps a tiny bit, but not enough. Within a matter of two weeks, my milk supply was cut by 75% and though I finally stopped using it, I was never able to get my supply to where it was. I ended up stopping nursing 6 months earlier than I'd planned because my pediatrician said I wasn't even making enough to make it worth it anymore. It was pretty upsetting and depressing. I'm not saying you need to buy a $300 pump, but this Evenflo definitely wasn't worth the inexpensive price or convenience.
