Baby Products Reviews of Evenflo Classic Johnny Jump Up Doorway Jumper - BugCustomer Review: well worth it! Summary: 4 Stars
I got this because it so closely resembled the jumparoo that I played in for hours when I was a baby. It's a classic design that still works today! I love that I can take it down and store it in a very small space when it is not being used, and it is easily washable (important if you have a "happy spitter" like my son). Two caveats: first, if you have a petite or preemie baby you will need to use a thin blanket or towel to help fill in the seat and make it comfortable for him (our son was 11 pounds and 5.5 months old in thE pictureS I attached). Second, make sure that you have ledges over the top of whatever hall entrance or door you plan to use this on. I wasn't careful about checking this when I bought the item, and unfortunately there is only one arch that this will work in, all other doorways don't have enough room between the top of the door edging and the ceiling to place the hefty clamps that keep this jumper up and safe. HAPPY JUMPING!
Customer Review: Jump and jump and jump! Summary: 5 Stars
Our own children LOVED this Johnny Jump Up... so it was only a matter of time before we NEEDED our grandson, Jonas, to experience the joy his dad and uncle did in this fun toy! Mounts easily and firmly to most common-sized doorways... easy to put him in and take him out. He enjoys sucking on the fabric covered bar... but it's also easy to clean...so not a biggie. :) Expect him to spend many hours hanging around in this baby. Momma can actually get some office work done while he's happily occupied a couple feet away. :)Evenflo Classic Johnny Jump Up Doorway Jumper - Bug
Customer Review: New mom of five month old baby Summary: 3 Stars
This product is well made and a value for the cost. But the bucket seat is huge. I baught this for my daughter who was four months old at the time and weighed almost sixteen pounds and 25 inches. Her legs were spread wide making it difficult to jump, and her body slipped from one side of the seat to the other. I tried stuffing a blanket around her to keep in the middle, but she was never able to enjoy it. I since purchased a much smaller jumper that she enjoys now. I kept this jumper because I do like it and think she will enjoy it at about 8 to 10 months when she is a bigger baby, if she's not already walking by then.
Customer Review: Jumping for Joy! Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter is 6 months old and has been standing since she was 4 months old. The evenflo classic Johnny Jump up is her favorite thing to play in. It has strenghtened her legs which has really helped her learning to crawl. The jump up allows her to be more independent and she can use it in any doorway with crown molding. This allows her to hang out and watch mommy in every room. The jump up is easy to assemble and is very strong as well as safe. It is made of washable material and easy to put up take down or pack for traveling. I have one at home and one at grandma's house. It is also very affordable. I would give it *****
Customer Review: Jane's Jump Up Bug Summary: 5 Stars
Our seven month old daughter does not like being on her tummy so she does not like to crawl or attempt to crawl. She loves kicking and we got the Johnny Jump Up Bug to help her use her legs more without having to be laying down on her tummy. She loves it. She now loves sitting up and kicking her legs and making herself move around. Since Johnny Jump Up Bug does not have a tray it is easy to get her in and out and she has not come close to pinching her fingers like the reviews for jumpers that have trays usually state. We are very pleased with the quality for it's low price and will use it for our future kids.
