My wife and me started our baby out on evenflo products from 0-4 months. We started with the 4oz glass bottles and slowly moved into the 8oz bottles. Sadly as we progressed with the evenflo, the quality of their product did not. Even though the sizes of the nipple are supposed to get bigger or son had a very difficult time getting any of the formula out of the bottle. As a new, or current parent who is probably reading this, you can imagine a hungry baby is not a happy baby. As the story goes on I try and tool man fix a few of the nipples using a sanitary needle to make the hole bigger on the nipple but to no avail. We even moved from the #2 nipples to the #3 nipples which where even more disappointing as our son was drowning in the milk as the nipple is basically cut in a cross shape on the top of the nipple?!?!
So one day I had finally had it and ran to Walgreens to find a new set of bottles. I looked at Dr. Browns and also Phillips Avent 9oz bottle and #3 nipples. I decided to give Phillips a shot and can say I have not been disappointed! Now mind you, no product is perfect. If that were the case you wouldn't be here reading this review. The problem I have had with Avent is the bottle can some times leak which means you are not getting a good seal, so I just make sure to tighten it well which means it's a little tough for my wife to open. However nipple to nipple challenge the big difference is Avent uses multiple holes in the nipple instead of just using one. This makes it easier for our son to eat. Again Avent is not perfect but it does the job and I have been very happy with the product as I have a happy son who can now eat. We have been using the Avent product for 2 months to date.
