I was a little apprehensive about glass bottles, but they are made of very thick glass, and I'm sure would be very difficult to break (my older kids have knocked a bottle down a time or two with no problem). Most importantly, the bottles are easy for my baby to use. I thought it might be difficult with such an old-fashioned style bottle, but he actually spits up less (in comparison to Avent bottles). I'm awaiting several sets for my sister-in-law who is expecting a baby.Customer Review: Solution to feeding my baby

I had trouble getting my breastfed baby to take an Avent bottle (which my first took beautifully) so I called the lactation consultants at the hospital to ask their advice. They suggested the Evenflo classic bottles which are like these except plastic with the clear nipple. They worked great. After swearing by Avent with my first, I never imagined the solution to feeding my second would be an "old-fashioned" type bottle. It works though so I will stick with them.Customer Review: Not good for babies with reflux

Great price, but if your baby has reflux, this is not the bottle for him or her. We've used Avent and Dr. Brown's , but with the plastic scare, wanted to switch over to something else. As other's have suggested, I tried my Dr. Brown's parts with these and they leaked terribly, there is no vent system with the Evenflo and with a reflux baby, tons of spit up and stomach pain. Better off with the Nam, plastic, but BPA free, they work great with the reflux baby.Customer Review: Difficult to use

I switched to this product because it is glass and safer than plastic according to news reports. The caliberation is difficult to read on the bottle and so I always end up pouring more or less milk than I need. Also, the nipples are not up to par and when I used the Dr. Brown's nipples and vent system, the bottle leaked terribly.
The price was very reasonable but I ended up going back to my trusty Dr. Brown. God will protect all our little ones!

I love these bottles. I bought them to replace the plastic bottles I'd received from my showers. I have not had a problem with the tops leaking as have other parents. I just tighten the tops well. My daughter breastfeeds and has no problem taking water and juice from the nipples provided with the bottles. I was going to buy seperate nipples but didn't and I'm glad. They came with stage one nipples that work great for breastfeeding babies.
