The glass bottles are great, although the Evenflo bottles leak when you shake them. I don't like the evenflo nipples that much, so I just bought Dr. Brown nipples to use with the bottles.
There is another brand of glass bottles, Nuture Pure, which I like much better, but it is harder to find. The Nuture Pure cap fits better, and doesn't leak when shaken. I bought at the (now) defunct Elephant Pharmacy, although rumor is you can find them at Whole Foods.

I decided to switch off of the Avent bottles out of concern for the BPA in the plastic. I wouldn't say this is the best choice though. Unless you get the cap screwed on just right they leak or don't vent at all. Also, the fast nipples break down quickly (the hole grows larger with each use) and become more like a deluge of milk soaking myself and my daughter. She medium flow is too slow and she gets frustrated. They also are rather heavy and she doesn't like holding it on her own.Customer Review: Very Good

These glass bottles are great and they are easy to clean. I don't have to worry about chemicals that are in plastic bottles so I can heat without any worry. They are a little on the heavy side. The 4 oz bottles are great. I would recommend the 8 oz bottles for older infants who can hold their own bottle though. Overall this is a great product and I would recommend them to a friend. As a side note if you have a Medela breast pump you can pump milk right into the bottles!Customer Review: evenflo classic glass nurser bottles

I bought this product from Amazon but didn't receive them. They probably got lost when they were shipped out. I emailed the customer service and within a few days later I rec'd the bottles. Amazon have such a wonderful service. The nipples are so hard for my baby to suck on. I haven't have a chance to buy new nipples to replace them yet. The price is very reasonable but they are very hard to find. I couldn't find them at any stores. You would have to order them on line.Customer Review: Glass bottles are a healthier choice!

I have researched plastic bottles extensively. They are known to leak a little cancer causing chemical into the baby's milk when they are heated. I am not some wacky nut job who thinks everything gives you cancer, but when it comes to our children's health why take a chance. I use these glass bottles at home with my daughter and strongly recommend them to my friends. I know we can't protect are kids from everything, but I am going to do as much as I can for my children.
