Customer Review: Make sure you have got all your parts!
Summary: 1 Stars

I can't really review the product since I was never able to use it. We tried putting it together initially but found a major part missing. We called it in to have it sent to us but it took Evenflo a month to get us the part. Since the baby can't use it until they are 4 months old and pretty much can't use it after 6 months old, a month takes a bug chunk out of the use of this thing. When we finally receieved the part, we went to put it together again and found more parts missing. I called Evenflo to ask if they could give me something else in place of the Exersaucer that the baby could use past the six month mark but since we were out of the 90-day warranty (we had received it as a shower gift months earlier) they were not able to help us and all they could do was send the missing parts again saying that we should have done an inventory again after realizing the first part was missing. I guess they are right but I still think they could have bent the rules a bit given the toy would be useless to us in a month and they had not given us the parts AND taken so long to get them to us. It's still going to take a week to get more parts to us - wasting even more time. I give this product one star purely for the hassle Evenflo has caused us.

Customer Review: We love it!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I received the Tiny Love Gymini as a Shower Gift and I bought the Exersaucer Entertainer for my daughter a few weeks ago (she wasn't quite 4 mos. at the time) and she loves them both! I have been using the Gymini since she was a month old for her tummy time. Her development and stimulation from the animals and mirrors have been really amazing. Now, she likes to stand and has had real good development in her back and neck for her age. So, I purchased the Exersaucer for her. She's up to about 15 minutes in it. Which gives me time to get bottles ready, take a breath, and type this review! :-)

The Exersaucer was amazingly easy to put together. My husband is deployed, so I ended up putting this together by myself. No problem. Everything was easy and not real time consuming! I was so proud of myself, I sent pictures to my husband.

Anyway, my baby girl has discovered how to pull and grab just about everything and has done so much to the dogs dismay! I only wish the legs on the Exersaucer converted to an actual walker because I would hate to part with this in a few months.

The Gymini and Exersaucer are wonderful! I recommend them both to any parent!

Customer Review: Very entertaining but doesn't bounce well
Summary: 4 Stars

Our baby has had lots of fun with this saucer, but the butterfly attachments are built into the spring/bounce system and the edges of the posts quickly got frayed so that they no longer allow the saucer to bounce well. The butterflies also always seemed dangerous since they stay put when the baby bounces down, but we never actually had a problem.

The phone also has a couple of edges that poke out too much, especially when the baby is small and a bit "wobbly" (we took it out until he got older). I also noticed some of the same dye bleeding problem on the flower that I've read about in other reviews (but I didn't notice until after the fabric was faded). Also, our baby never paid much attention to the hanging toys.

However, all the other toys are pretty good and there are so many toys on the saucer that there were lots of others he loved - the little "book" is great and our baby got the hang of it quickly (I think it actually helped him become interested in books more quickly than our first child). I'm not sure it was worth the extra dollars for the "bells and whistles" - maybe a simpler one would be just as good. But, overall, he's had lots of fun with it!

Customer Review: Electronic Book can smash fingers!
Summary: 3 Stars

We looked on line first and then went to the Babies R US store to try out the Exersaucers before purchasing. We put our baby in all of the models at the store and she seemed to like this one the best. We liked the fact that it folded up for storage. We also liked that it could easily change heights. Once we got it home we found the assembly to take a while because there were so many pieces. Including the fact that each leg has three pieces. Once it was complete things went well. Her favorite part was the electronic book. One day she started crying while playing with it. She is 5 months old. It turns out that she had one hand pinned down under the plastic page with her other hand and all of her force smashing her hand under the page. My husband wanted to rip the pages of the book off to protect her, but we deciedded to tape the book down instead. It frustrates her and she spends a great deal of time trying to turn the pages.
Also since she wants to put everything in her mouth, she is frustrated by most of the toys because she can't get them to her mouth without a great deal of effort. I usually end up putting some of her other toys on the saucer that she can pick up.

Customer Review: My lifesaving toy...
Summary: 5 Stars

This is about the only thing you can do with your baby when they can't get around. Otherwise, you constantly have to pick up the toy they dropped when sitting in a bouncy seat or find something new.

This exersaucer is awesome!!! My son started it at 3 months. We just tucked a blanket around him...he was early on keeping his head up. He couldn't reach everything at that point, but we bought some click-in replacement toys that kind of dangle over the seat...which he could reach. He could not reach the toys on the arch for a few months. At times, we would take the arch down and click-in a different toy we bought.

All in all, the greatest thing is that you can switch out the toys to keep your baby interested. My son figured out every toy, so it helped. If I put in a new toy, he would spin around directly to it, because he was getting tired of the old stuff.

I put my son in this every day and it was so great. He is very active. But once he started crawling, it was all over. He wanted to move around. So don't expect this to last until they walk (like I thought). Just be really happy with how great it is for whatever time it works.
